http://www.destinyfroste.addr.com/con/dragon/

I left today and went to target (practical reasons though I did do a little SW shopping :D) and who did I run into but the girl who is going to marry George Cloony. She actually wrote him on her Christmas list...love her to death but GEEZE!!!!!!

Oh yeah...and anything you hear about Cherry's are LIES...ALL LIES!!!!!!

That's hilarious that you ran into that person Gina!

Well, I had a super time. I stopped at another store on the way home, but still no luck finding that Art of AOTC calendar.

    Worst. Book. Ever.

    Funniest. Meeting. Ever. [face_laugh]

Sucky books, gay men, a member losing her cherries at the meeting, politics, Rush Limbaugh, Dan stating that cheating on his wife isn't as bad as killing someone.

    [face_laugh]

Oh, I love you guys. :D

    "Worst book ever"

You are absolutely nuts. These are great fun and while not the greatest of Star Wars books, they certainly aren't even close to being the worst. Definitely mid-range material. You really need to read Splinter of the Mind's Eye and The Approaching Storm before you can call them the worst ever. Now those works really stink.

Despite Gina's protests, I can say definitively that I witnessed Gina lose her cherry.

I just want to make it clear for the record that I was only a witness to the event and not a participant.

I saw the whole incident. Quite humorous.

Just don't talk to Channel 2 about it, Dan. ;)

Hey Sithy, you forgot to mention the assault on my son by Jedi Autobot. My son still smells of Dr.Pepper.

It was nice meeting all of you yesterday. I had a great time! What other book club meeting where I can see a member lose her cherry and watch Carrie cover a poor baby in Dr. Pepper. Lots of fun. See you guys at the Holiday Party and next month's meeting.

Worst Boook Ever--I think that Barbara Hambley could take that honor for her SW books. Thinking about it Barbara Hambley's vampire books are just as bad.

Yeah, Dan... you were talking to Laura at the time. I saw Destiny lose her cherry, though... and managed to hold my tongue for at least a minute.

A minute?! I give you 10 seconds tops before you and Phil were giggling about it. This is my payback for splurging on a chocolate malt...next time I should tell them no cherry...or at least make sure to remove it from the glass first thing. *sniffle, sniffle* I may just develop a complex from this...

If I remember corectly, you lost your cherry more than once, and I did indeed witness the last one.

Kevin, I think Gina's new nickname should be "Cherry" instead of "Cherries" . . . I know you want to have it match "Peaches", but I think it sounds better this way, don't you?

Just in case Darth Jurist is watching and accuses me of laying spam, I also wanted to mention that I finally got the chance to finish off The Mindharp of Sharu today. I really like it. I'm hoping that despite how hectic it is going to be this weekend that I'll also get to read The Flamewind of Oseon.

See. I told you guys I would finish all of the Lando books eventually.

No, I only lost my cherry once. You witnessed me FINDING the cherry after slaming the rest of the chocolate Malt...I am surprised I did not get a brain freeze.

So you finished the first one...about time ;) The next two made me feel like I was trapped in the mind of someone on acid or something. Look at the pretty colored sky...now look at the huge transparent vacum breathing creatures who talk and cause things to expload.

I forgot to mention how I liked the twist with the Sabacc deck used like tarot cards and especially what the cards told Lando about Vuffi Rah. Intresting little comedic twist.

Hey guys. Sorry I didn't make it to this last meeting. Now I'm glad I didn't even finish the FIRST story in the book. It sounds like the other 2 weren't any better. So, what's the next book for January in Schaumburg?
