NYC, NY Collecting Club/Group

See..thats why I really only collect the Unleashed now. Well those and I'm aiming to still get the Code 3 X-Wing.

 

I almost bought 3 unleashed, they looked pretty cool. Han, Yoda and Boba Fett were 3 for $40 at the National Convention. I passed on them 1. because I do not collect figures anymore 2. Becauce I spent enough on Daniel Logan.

Other than that, I got a few new autrographs. My site will be updated later tonight.

 

I feel they are going the way of the Playmates Star Trek figures and are producing a figure for every character. Its getting to be quite expensive

 

MS- That was a great price for those Unleashed. Dang, now I wish I could have made it there. I need Boba and Yoda still.

I can't wait for the Chewie and Clone Trooper too. They look sweet.
Think I'll head to Home Depot on my day off and get more shelves...LOL

 

I just ordered the MR Darth Vader FX. The Insider has a coupon code where you can get either Vader or Luke $99.00 with the stand. That and some MR Rewards I had, the Saber cost me $68.95.

 

I would love to get the Vader.

But between tax and shipping...it will add another $26 bucks or so.

 

This morning after I came out of the eye Dr.'s office I passed by this Antique / Coin store. In the window they had the Marvel Comics Treasury Size Edition of STAR WARS 1 & 2. Needlees to say I purchased them.
I have not seen these since my childhood , and sorry to say I never took care of them & they went to the way of all flesh. The ones I picked up today are in good condition (by comic grading standards) and make afine addition to my ever growing collection .
I also picked up this evening at TRU Times Sq some figures I did not have. They had the C3PO with escape pod as well as the Hoth Figure set.

It wound up costing me only $49. They are refunding my shipping costs. If I used my other rewards I could of gotten it for free.

Series 2 Kubricks

 

I'm looking for those Kubrick figures as well. They're wicked expensive on ebay.

I just ordered the MR Anakin saber signature edition. God help me...LOL

 

Kubricks are cheap compared to Master Replicas and Kubricks are imported. I bought my case of Kubricks for $105 shipped.

I ordered the Anakin LE. I had the SE in my shopping cart and removed it last minute. I figure if the signing with Hayden does happen that C2Ventures will also have a signing with him. I would rather have an 8x10 photo. I kind of regret buying the Luke ESB SE. The saber has not retained its initial cost and Mark Hamill has done tons of signings lately including C2Ventures. I do not regret the Mace Windu SE. SLJ/ Mace is a BMF.

Yeah the Mace one is a definite must. I had to cancel mine unfortunately I got to see one in person though, they're gorgeous.

I picked up the Grand Modd Tarkin Mini Bust for $30 this weekend.

 

My Kotobukiya Darth Maul arrived on Saturday and OMG does it ROCK!! Definitely the best in their line of kits so far.

I picked up some more of the CW Figures and one of the Kubrics from Alan this weekend

 

My collection of Unleashed is almost complete.

So far: Darth Maul,Count Dooku,Darth Vader,Vader w/o helmet, Jango Fett, Boba Fett, Mace Windu,Yoda,Obi Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker,Padme, Princess Leia, Luke Skywalker(Hoth), Chewbacca,and Han Solo.

Still need: Palpatine, Luke(Jedi) and the forth coming Clone Trooper. I think thats it.

Anyone else collecting these?

 

I saw the Unleashed Clone Trooper today at Forbidden Planet. It loks great.

I still only have Darth Vader, but have been thinking about getting a few others. I will definately get the new Bossk Unleashed that is pictured in the latest issue of Insider.
