It occured to me that if I didn't kick in the hyperdrive on Red 4 (the Jeep)...that getting Shara to Union Station by 8:10 wasn't gonna happen....got there by the skin of our teeth....had to hit the ejection button on the passenger seat in order to propel her into the building...

So good to meet you Mike & Lynora...

and to get a chance to chat with the Jedi Jeffs....

Hope the rest of your trip is a good one...

Well, when I was leaving Jeff's (and yes I'm admitting this) I said I didn't want to go home yet. And I almost didn't.

Phyllis got me to the train station at 8ish. I walked in, headed to the train and found out...oh sorry it's a half an hour late. Oy! Some derailment somewhere I think. Then, when we were coming into Indy, we had to back up and get rerouted. Shara didn't get home until 2:45 and had to work at 10 this morning. Oy. Next time, I'm taking the whole weekend off.

It was nice seeing "everyone" (though I missed just about everyone else) Though Jeff should be a magician for all the birds he was pulling out at me Thanks Jeff & Kath for being a gracious host, Phyllis for being my chaufeur (sp? bah), Le_Penguin for getting me into the museum, and of course Mike and Lynora for coming down. HOpe you had a better trip back than I did.

Boxers too. Man, I knew clothes would come in handy some day.

 

Well, it seams I missed Shara and SG by about 10 minutes.

It was great to finally meet Mike and Leynora, and I hope I'll get to see you both at DragonCon .

Lynora and I want to thank the Wilks for putting with us for the last several days. It was really nice of you folks to take us wacky Canadians into your household. The kids are great and Ceri is such a little cutie Phyllis you have an amazing
collection and we really enjoyed visiting with you. Your garden was fantastic !!! Jason, Erica, Heather, Cari, Luis, Tom and the rest of the gang, you are a great bunch. Hopefully we will get to see you all again in the near future.
