Ridiculous, the reason that porn works is because the male viewer identifies with male performer. Of course you're gonna check out his junk. It's probably the first thing you'll check.

For years I had heard the 80% figure, so this 90% represents an apparent increase in production that I didn't know had happened.

Plenty of places willing to fill their needs.

Vegas makes sense for many reasons, most important I'd imagine would be the extremely friendly business environment I keep hearing that Nevada. Handel on KFI a few days ago spent some time talking about a friend of his who recently moved his business from SoCal to Vegas. Of course, all of this maybe just bluster in the end. Whose to say just how this would get enforced/if it would really get enforced at all. The current city government aren't exactly a an effective bunch.

Why not? I love to watch/follow the news, particularly local news. Been doing so for a lot of my life, and this story has a particular interest for me.

This is going to lose LA a lot of tax money. I can't imagine porn people will want to stay so they will go elsewhere and take the millions of tax dollars LA gets elsewhere.

When I learned of this thread in the hat, I was reasonably sure it was an exaggeration. It appears I was mistaken.

 

The politicans here in La La Land are just as wacky/ridiculous as the celebrities.

You really would have appreciated then the conversation me & a couple of co-workers had some 45 minutes ago about those who count the merchandise at all the porn warehouses/stores here in the Valley.

 

I am absolutely convinced that you only care so much for the economic impact of the issue.

 

I have never given the issue much thought. It would seem to me that inserting the harsh reality of STD and unwanted pregnancy prevention into fantasy that is porn could ruin the enjoyment of the experience. In the end, though, I'm sure we can all come to the same conclusion.

 

Trust, that part is definitely there. It's not merely an industry based here in town, but rather an industry specifically based in the area of town in which I live.................would hate to see business shrink, get flaccid due to an unnecessary/intrusive law.
