Char, NC Congradulations to the NFL Panthers

I am a citzen of Boise, Idaho who used to live in Charlotte. I am a HUGE CAROLINA PANTHER fan and I hope they win the NFC Title next week and go to the Super Bowl.

 

I'm glad the Panthers won! I hope someday people will give 'em respect they deserve. They work hard to get where they are & teams get respect for that. Hopefully they will shed that underrated thing one of those day. And if they're work harder against Green Bay/Philly, then it the Superbowl for 'em Panthers!!

Yeah!! Panthers won!!!! They won!! I'm so happy my home team finally got this far & now it off to the Superbowl. Even if they lose there, I will still be happy with my team for getting this far in their career ever. And congrats to Eagles for trying their best.

I love it that all these other playoff teams with their big names stars like McNabb, Manning, Faulk, and Holmes are all sitting at home while a team of free agent and waiver pick-ups and some strong rookies are going to the Super Bowl on the arm of a no-name quarterback from NFL Europe. It's just nice to see a real team of players sacrificing their individual stats for the sake of a championship getting what they deserve.

You didn't mean 1861 by any chance did you? Because if you did, just to let you know, the Civil War is over and you guys lost ! Actually it's kinda ironic. In Superbowl 38 the soldiers from the North kick the butts of the soldiers from the South on their home turf. I guess it is a little like the Civil War all over again .

You're kidding, right? Too warm. It'll be in the mid-60's on Superbowl Sunday. That's perfect weather for football for any team.

 

But the Patriots are cold blooded. hehe.
Hell, when I was in RI, I was cold blooded.

 

No. We're not cold blooded up here. It's just that we're so used to it being below 70 degrees for 7-9 months out of the year .

It's warm, sunny, and the sun doesn't go down before 4pm here.

 

Believe me, I've thought about it. My family and I went to Florida in May last year (it starts to get nice up here late April/beginning of May). The weather was great, a bid muggy though. Even the locals said that it was unseasonably humid for that time of year. It only rained once during the day and that only lasted for about an hour. It rained so hard that it seemed like it was raining for two days straight by the time it had stopped.

 

Remember that weather won't be a factor. Reliant Stadium has a retractable roof so the conditions, opened or closed, should be perfect.

I don't think we'll ever see a stadium with a retractable roof up here. It's much better that way! Sure you can go to a game and not have to sit in snow, but what fun is that?

 

It's fun to feel your body instead of sitting in a freezer.

 

In just 4 1/2 to 5 hours the Cats will be Super Bowl Champs!!!
