    Hey all! I'm new here . . . I'm a huge Star Wars fan (of course), and finally got around to joining the site!
    I've been super busy with commissions, so if ya don't hear from me often datz the reason!
    ALL of my stuff will be posted in this first message.

    BRIEF BIO: I've been drawin' since I could pick up a pencil and grew up in the Bronx with a lot
    of the Graffiti influence of the late '70s & early '80s, pretty much a self taught artist.
    I've been a pro artist since '93 and I've done Apparel design, Animation, Greeting cards,
    Logo designs, Inking projects for various comic companies and much more!

    INTERESTS: I dig Comics, Sci-fi, Collectibles, Martial Arts, BBall, The Yankees, Hip Hop, Chess,
    Reading, Music, Traveling, learning about different cultures, Wildlife & more!

    TOOLS: My weapons of choice are TRIA? Pantone markers, Spray paint, Photoshop CS3,
    ZEBRA? brush pens, PRISMACOLOR? colored pencils, Canson paper, Corel DRAW10.

    I did this VADER in Prismacolor colored pencils and a Sharpie? for the black areas,
    hope ya like . . . . thanx for lookin'!
    Peace!

    This MAUL was done some years ago,
    love the character! Love Graffiti! So it
    only made sense to mix the two!!!
    Medium: CorelDRAW 10

    [image=http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u20/KERISMS/maul.jpg]

    Da BABY MAUL was done for the monthly
    challenge, had a blast bringin' this little bad ass to life,
    dig the little "Empire" logos on his pillow!
    Medium: Photoshop CS3

    [image=http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u20/KERISMS/bmm.jpg]

    Since I did the BABY MAUL I just couldn't resist doin' a BABY VADER!!!
    I imagine him sayin' to his Teddy ?I find your lack of faith disturbing.?
    heehee! . . . This one was for the challenge as well.
    Medium: Photoshop CS3

    [image=http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u20/KERISMS/bdv.jpg]

    Lil Boba's pappy always told him not to mess with nature,
    and that some day nature would pay him back for bein' mean to the baby Sarlacc . . .
    well we all know how that turned out . . . heehee!

    This was another fun project in my "BABY" line!

    Medium: Photoshop CS2

    [image=http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u20/KERISMS/fett.jpg]

    Stormtroopers were known throughout the galaxy as great marksmen . . . .
    with dreams of being part of an elite squad some day little TX-412 would run around
    with his pal Dewey, and would practice shooting at anything that moved with his trusty squirt blaster.

    Medium: Photoshop CS3

    [image=http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u20/KERISMS/bt.jpg]

    Haven't posted in a long while so here ya go!I thought it would be
    funny to do high school graduation type thing for Darth Maul!
    Hope you think it's as funny as I thought it was!

    Holy SITH!!

    **faints**

    **wakes up again to type**

    WOW!! :eek: =D= Fantastic!! Welcome to Fan Art--you definitely come bearing gifts, that's for sure! Awesome colors (I would've sworn this was paint of some kind, with the saturation, smoothness and blending), and with colored pencils no less!! =D= I can certainly see why you're busy with commissions! Can't wait to see some more from you (and I'm definitely going to have to check out your website!)! Again--welcome!

    I can't believe you used a sharpie for that.You must've been very delicate while using it, because it looks just like very careful shading.

    Very good. Hope too see more soon!

    Thanx so much for the great comments and for the warm welcome!
    The whole Sharpie thing wasn't that hard actually I just put down the
    shape of Vader in all black and then worked with the colored pencils on top.
    It was a fun project, I always dig workin' on the Star Wars characters!

    :)

    I think you underestimate yourself-- the technique may sound difficult, but it's always in the execution, and knowing how to get the effect, isn't it? And the execution came out flawlessly, I love it. =D= Great start here. Welcome, feel right at home!

    Oh Jeez . . . I'm sorry I hope I didn't offend SJ, some times it's hard to tell
    by the names, please forgive! . . . I truly appreciate your comments and
    you takin' the time to check out my stuff, and I did indeed take it seriously . . .
    I just didn't want anyone to think I did something so intricate with the Sharpie?
    (as far as like doin' little details or something) so i felt i should explain myself. =0)
    Most of the hard work took place with the colored pencils more than anything.
    Thank you so much for the welcome as well!

    Great Maul tag.

    As a graffiti artist, I love and appreciate SW art done with the Graffiti inspiration. It makes me feel that much prouder that a movie so many people love can motivate to create beautiful art.

    [face_laugh][face_laugh]=D=

    Those "babies" are fabulous!! =D= Such wonderful scenes you have them in, and totally keeping with their adult personas, as well! Vader "choking" his teddy had me on the floor, literally! [face_laugh] I love the way you color and shade your work--such wonderful depth and saturation, highlighting and shadows! These are too wonderful! The Maul piece reminds me of a tattoo design, as well as graff--it could be, with the cool framing! Most excellent, all!

    [face_laugh][face_laugh]

    I can hear it now:

    "BOBBA!! You'd better not be playing around that sarlaac pit again!!"

    ROFL!! Love the bandaid on his knee--so typical for little Mandos! ;) :p You're definitely "running" with this idea, I can see! =D=

    I love the new updates!

    but I gotta say, even though the baby Vader and Bobba look great, I would love to see them in their armor, but like shruken down for baby version. I also really like how you put your tag on every piece in the backgrounds.

    WOW.

    Your art is fantastic!! The Vader doesn't even look hand-drawn, it's so good. I love the colors and how realistic the pieces look.

    That's absolutely amazing =D=

    These are great! They would be great as part of a big mural on a nursery or toddlers room wall. I'm actually surprised that George didn't license more baby toys/clothes to be made now with all of us who grew up on the original trilogy now having families of our own There's really only the 'Galactic Heroes' toys. I love the Baby Boba Fett.
