St. Lou, MO December Meeting

Might as well start thinking about it now. Saturdays in December are the 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th, and 31st. The 24 is probably out for the obvious reasons. 31st maybe, maybe not we could always go the new years route.

What say you?

 

I'm not sure what the month of December is going to bring. I'm not sure about the job front, and it's around the holidays too... I know the 10th is out definitely. But that's all I know right now...

Are we doing the annual Lazer Core meeting? (Haven't checked though to see if they are in business like John said..)

 

New Years is out as I will be galavanting around Europe for the first couple weeks of January...

 

Well, there was talk of a holiday party but theme/location is up for debate as well.

As long as I know the exact date at least a week ahead of time I should be able to make it.

Are we gong to draw names or something for Christmas/Hanukkah/Kwanza presents? There could be like a $15-20 maximum so no one really feels outdone. It's just an idea.

 

Dajuan suggested action figures, which I think is an excellent idea.

 

I'm asssuming it would be Star Wars action figures? That would be cool.

 

I finally looked at the calendar. We will be in town the weekends of the 3rd, the 10th and the 31st. We are trying to get home for the weekends of the 17th and the 24th and will be back around the 27th. So what does everyone else have free?

 

I can be free for all but the 24th. Do stuff with the parents that day. I hope the day that is decided on is decided with in two weeks of the date of the meeting so I can get off work.

 

I'll pretty much be available anytime that isn't the evening of the 24 (unless my parents are hosting that again, in which I'll have to be here) and the 25. Other than that, standard rules apply, anytime saturday or sunday works.

 

Sundays would be best for me...

 

I may be able to go too, OH MY GOD I'll actually be able to go to a Stl FF event. **faints and colapses**

 

Ok, so how about Sunday the 11 or Saturday of the 16th? And what do we want to do? Bowling? A Holiday dinner? Suggestions...?

 

Either of those days are fine with me. Bowling sounds good. It's been a long time since I bowled, so if that's what's decided on, don't laugh. Plus we could do what Dajuan suggested, exchange action figures. I think it was Dajuan that suggested it anyway.

 

The 11th I have a luncheon thingy to attend, but the 16th is still open I think.

And bowling sounds pretty good, unless anybody wants to see Narnia.

 

The 16th sounds good to me, but when does everyone get back from school? If they could attend that would rock, if not it sucks but it happens.

Bowling, Holiday party, either way. Randy offered up his tiny place for the occasion, I could move all his furniture to make room for everyone if we want. No matter to me, if we don't go there less work for me

As for figure exchange, I can't claim that. I think it was either Christina's idea or something we tossed off each other and came up with it. Only problem I see with figure exchange is that some of us have almost everyone of the new figs out. If we trade names that might work better or instead of figures do strange/unique SW stuff. Just a thought.

 

I forgot that Naria would be out next month...where is time flying?

 

Seeing Narnia and trading names sounds like a plan to me.
I forgot it was coming out also.
