Well, I don't know about any of you, but I can't wait to get on the plane headed for DragonCon...LOL

I'm sure there won't be a dull moment at any time there. How could there be with Star Wars fans!!!!

 

I'm glad y'all are coming.

Just be sure to bring your flame retardant clothing.

 

Hmmmmmm...Kicked outa hotel....flame retardant clothing...I'll be sure to bring my camera now..LOL

 

I have yet to encounter a problem with hotel security at a con a few greenbacks could not fix!

Hello all, I'm from the Midwest (and Pacific Islands in a out of body way) FanForce and look forward to meeting everyone.

 

Look forward to meeting you Bobafemme.

And I hear people(guys) say there aren't many female SW fans, well, we sure have alot on this topic.

I think it's great we can all get together with SW as a common interest. It will be fun meeting people from all over the U.S. and also some from Canada.

 

I think alot of gals are Star Wars fans. 5 of the 8 MotF staffers are girls. Plus we have alot of volunteers like Lucy who we can't do with out. Lucy is our party animal and chief bouncer! (lol) We have groups like Star Wars Chicks and the Qui Gon Jinn disscussion list which are primarily female.
I'd still say Dragon*con is a fanboy environment, but we girls can hold our own.

Only two days left for me, Yikes! All the boxes of stuff are packed up, we have some cool surprises for everyone. Hopefully I can keep from getting too excited. I'm looking forward to meeting you all!!

Everyone have a safe trip coming in. It looks like the weather should cooperate with you, for the most part.

 

Can't wait...both plane and con tickets have been paid for...just counting down the hours now

 

and off I go for the 15+ hour trip to Atlanta.

Well, I won't be able to make it to Dragon*Con. But, like Heather said, Chicago Force will be there. I met Luci at Gen Con. She's a most delightful person. Be sure to take lots of pictures.

I'm sorry that you will be unable to make it to DragonCon, Phil. Don't worry, I'm sure many incriminating pictures will be taken.

 

Change in plans (for the better). The class I was supposed to go to from 3-7 p.m. (CST) has been postponed a week, so I'll be leaving for Hothlanta right after lunch tomorrow. See ya there around 5-6 p.m. (EST).

Hope everyone had as good a time as I did...Sansweet's Connections presentation was great, and Anthony Daniels rocked as the MC of the costume contest!

I'm glad you made it to the luncheon, Nabooty. It was a pleasure to meet the man behind one of the more interesting usernames on the boards.

 

Nabooty came by my office for a few minutes on Friday. Wish I could have seen more of him.

 

I wish I could have made it to the luncheon. I got a little to carried away with "working" the con rather than enjoying the con this year.

Ya know, that was the best part of meeting everyone. With a great name like NabootyCall, you are nothing like you are on the boards. It's hard to believe you are so reserved in person. Still, it was great to meet you and hopefully we can all meet and hang out longer in person next time. Are you planning to go to the Celebration next year?
