Seems I need to get my hands on about $4000 aussie dollars to move my stuff. Bugger, could take longer than I thought, that's going to take time to gather.

 

I still wish to know two things:

1. Why are you planning on moving to Denmark? Are you broadening your horizons, or is there some other reason?

2. Why does OA fear that you'd bring ETs with you?

No I didn't, they came of thier own accord... Anyway...

I'm moving mostly cause while I was there last x-mas meeting my family I have there for the first time, soaking up my heritage as it were. I came to love the place, so much so that I decided that I wanted to spend more than just five weeks there. Most of which I spent in Copenhagen.

Well seeing as I am too old to apply for a working holiday, as my government won't let me do that. (Don't know why). I have to apply for a residency permit if I want to stay there for any longer than three months. Well I thought if I'm going to do that might as well stay for a good long time, and so I've decided to move to live. For a few years at least, maybe for good.

By the way, might have found my way around the money problem, if I do factory work I can get the cash in about three or so months. Mind you, factory work it self isn't very appealing, but still...

 

Well paid work, but not very interesting, huh? Them's the breaks?

I've tried factory work.....twice.....I will never do that again!

 

Factory work isn't that bad. I've worked at Volvo, assembling trucks, during the summer holidays. I'm going back there this summer, but this time I've made it to the repairs department, which means that I get to spend a lot of time outdoors. Yay!

The working hours are awful, though. Thank the maker that there are no dark nights during summer where I live. It makes it much easier to get up early or work nights.

Ok, the family thing makes sense, in fact thats the only reason i can think of why anyone would move to denmark instead of sweden oh, yes, that and the cheap beer... I mean how fun are the winters in Denmark? Not to mention the language, especially numbers! I tried to order a pizza in Roskilde once and I cant say I would recommend it...

 

There are plenty of reasons to settle in Denmark instead of Sweden! The cute language? A tremendously better Classical museum. And every single little thing is not forbidden!
