DFW, TX EVENT - Oct Sci-Fi Con (in Plano)

When: October 25-26, 2003 Saturday 11am-6pm, Sunday 11 - 5pm
Where: Plano Convention Center, 2000 E. Spring Creek Parkway Plano, TX


Events at the con include:

Saturday, 2pm - Costume Contest
Where your best or favorite costume and enter the contest to win some great prizes provided by C2 Ventures. Categories will be:
Best in Show - for the best overal costume out of any/all categories
Best Youth - for all the kiddies
Most Original - for the most unique and executed concept
Best Adaptation - for the best looking costume borrowed from another medium (film, TV, books, comics, etc)

Saturday, 5pm - Raffle
We will be raffling off some prizes and assorted goods, including a Lightsaber from SaberWorks here in DFW thanks to Guy. Raffle box entries located at the badge table and DFW FanForce table inside. Entry submissions will end at 5pm. Winners announced at 5:15pm - you must be present to win.

Sunday, all day - BYO Computer LAN Party
We invite you to come out and bring you're own computer for a day of LAN gaming at it's best. We will be playing games like Unreal Tournament, Star Craft, Age of Empires, and maybe even the new Jedi Academy. This is open to anyone, not just DFWFanForce members.
