FF:SA EVENT: UniSA Careers Festival - Mawson Lakes Campus - 29th AUGUST

Hear Ye ... Year Ye ... SAFFers!

I've received an email from a marketing co-ordinator at UniSA, inviting SAFF to supply Star Wars costumed characters to the Mawson Lakes Campus Careers Festival on August 29th between 11am-2pm.

I haven't received all the details, BUT ... this is a prime opportunity to get out there again and promote SAFF. I hear the IT students will particularly enjoy our presence there too!

It's a handy lil list! So, we have some costume people. Anyone with SAFF clothing who'd like to come along, please do! Although the Uni has asked for costume people, I think we have enough that if people without cossies wanted to come along and help out, that'd be cool too. The only thing I ask is that you wear something SAFF, ie the shirt, jacket, cap.

If someone has none of those and wanted to wear my SAFF jacket, then you're more than welcome.

I've extended an invitation to the 501st for this event, so am waiting to hear back from them.

There are changing facilities there and places for secure storage! Should be a fun event ... even though the CR may be seriously sleep depived!

I say tentative because our Cousin's son is a big Star Wars fan (turned 9 today) and wants to see our collection....to a 9 year old...its a Musuem so it could be an all day-er

 

That's cool, DLA. Thanks for letting us know! While the event goes mostly 10-4, we don't need to be there the entire time, so anytime you can spare is great. Hoping you and the Lady Guri can make it.
