fan film location

i know this is not a fan film form per say. but i think that eastern state penitentary would be a great location to shoot a fan film.
any one agre dissagree.

I was hoping to go there and shoot some photography to be used in the final scene of my own film, but I don't think I'll manage the time. (The last scene is in a detention center.)

I think it's a valid topic, since it's regional and related to fan activities.

Another great location in our region is Longwood Gardens.
I'm using the interior of the main conservatory as a set for an indoor Coruscant garden scene. Can't really film there with costumes. They have very strict rules, but I got plenty of backgroud shots done and I'm just using compositing to place the characters into the location.

when you say shoot some photogorpahy do you mean pictures or video footage?
if it is photos i have a ton of photos form there. most of them are in black and white but i have a fair selection of color shots.

 

Actually, most of the backgrounds I use are stills.

I think I'll use some ideas from the penatentary combined with concept art I already have from Iycis to create a hybrid CGI set.

Not yet.
My PC is dead right now, waiting for a replacement power supply. (Was hoping it would have arrived Saturday, but no luck.)

Probably have some stuff ready by the end of this month though.
