Since I haven't seen much of You Yahoos!

What did everybody think of Thor?

Personally, I loved it! It was just pure, 100% comic fun!

... as with all things Comic-to-Screen, I'm sure most can find some flaw but i didn't, or I'm not looking that hard at it I guess. [face_mischief]

I thought it was a lot of fun, too. The humor in it made it for me. As a non-comic person, I thought it was a little campy.

Campy? As in it smelled like camp fire, melted smores, and Pabst Blue Ribbon!?

Loved, Loved, loved the X-Men:First Class!!!

It had some quirks on the time line and characters that historically would not have been born yet but no matter. The story was great and I thought the Actors playing Charles and Erik were excellent.
I loved that Charles kept saying "Groovy" [face_mischief]

... and the F-Bomb was used only once but so very appropriate in who it was coming from. [face_laugh]

I just saw "Paul." If you haven't seen it, rent or Netflix is ASAP. There is a lot of great geek humor in it.

I'm trying to watch most of the best picture nominees before the Oscars. Considering most of them are still in the theater, this is going to be expensive.

There was a time that Shane and I would have seen most if not all of them. Now we have to wait for DVD ;)

We watched Lincoln on Friday night. It was...very historical, for people who like that kind of stuff I'm sure they'd enjoy it immensely.

We watched Django Unchained and it was crazy, off the wall action and violence fulfilling Tarantino's revenge fantasy desires completely. If you've ever wanted to see slave owners get their comeuppance in a revisionsit, shoot-em-up with more blood flying than even Inglorious Basterds, this is the movie for you.

I think we're still going to watch Life of Pi and Silver Linings Playbook. Maybe Zero Dark Thirty. We have already see Les Miz, and Argo. The others...eh.

I like it okay. Hugh Jackman did great. Overall I think it's worth seeing.... Though Russell Crowe is awful.

It was incredible! Long, lingering shots on those singing; it will break your heart. If you don't enjoy and be moved to tears from this movie, you must be a robot. You have to see it!

Ah, yes, Like of Pi. That was a great film. Who knew the sequel to Rainman in which Dustin Hoffman becomes obsessed with the number pi would be such an iconic action film. Am I right?!
