in case you've missed it, Roller Derby has taken a bit of a hold on Scotland, with several teams now competing regularly at various sports halls in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen.

In case the prospect of young, fit and often heavily-tattooed women in lycra and body armour whizzing round knocking lumps out of each other isn't enough to get you interested, please note that one of the Glasgow teams, the Death Stars, regularly have the local Stormtroopers along as cheerleaders.
