NSWRPF Archive Harry Potter Universe RPG

It has been 20 years since the ?last? battle between Harry Potter and the Lord Voldemort. Although there were confirmations that Voldemort was destroyed in a flash of light, there were no reports of what happened to Potter and he has not been seen since. After the final battle, his best friends Hermione Granger and Ronald Weasley were married and now live in London where Ronald works for the Ministry of Magic as an Auror and Hermione bases her S.P.E.W Headquarters. Ronald?s little sister and Harry girlfriend, Ginny Weasley has herself been wandering aimlessly from job to job unable to find her place and is currently employed at Borgin and Burke?s, for man years turning down jobs at Hogwarts. In a surprising move 5 years ago Neville Longbottom took over as Headmaster from Minerva McGonnogall, becoming the youngest Headmaster in the school history. Luna Lovegood has assumed the post of Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher and has held it for 6 years, the longest tenured DADA teacher in a while. Draco Malfoy, who turned against the Dark Lord and earned forgiveness by saving Harry?s life is now in charge of Azkaban now. He immediately ordered the execution of all Death Eaters in the prison, including taking care of his father personally. The Muggles have made immense technological leaps almost forcing the magical community to adapt to the changes and assimilate muggle things into their daily lives. An unusual thing is spotted on the outskirts of London that gets people a little jumpy. A cloaked man wearing a mask set a house on fire. Although he was caught, proven to be just a drunken fool, and is currently in Azkaban people a re starting to wonder why he got the idea to dress up as a death eater 20 years after Voldermort?s demise?This story picks in the year 2013.

-Personality: Kevin has a great sense of humor, resulting in him being on the end of many WWW products, some administered by the twins themselves. Kevin, in turn, has orchestrated several mass pranks and practical jokes, and that has resulted in him having a great relationship with Peeves. A result of this is Peeves limits himself to rhymes and verbal taunts when not helping with a mass prank.
Kevin is also very laid back, and can frequently be found in his office, playing board games, or using a Muggle computer, using magic to run it where the technology fails.

-Background: Kevin was born to a middle-class American family. His mother was a teacher at Salem, and his father was a trainer with the American Quidditch team. When he was thirteen, his sister was born, and his mother died giving birth. His father was devastated, and Kevin knew that he alone didn't make enough to support two children, so he went to England to live with his aunt and uncle, Healers at St. Mungo's. There Kevin completed his schooling, and became an intern in the Spell Damage Ward. When he was 25, he was asked to come to Hogwarts as a temporary teacher when the previous teacher retired. When he was met with enthusiastic students, and the O.W.L. and N.E.W.T marks were near record high (second place to Professor Dumbledore's), Kevin was asked to stay on as the permanent teacher. He agreed.

In the four years he has been teaching Transfiguration at Hogwarts, Kevin has seen some great students, and more inter-House tolerence than in his time four years behind Harry and Co. Kevin is the head of Gryffindor House, and still works summers at St. Mungo's, earning him the popular nickname "Doc" among the studnets.

Background:Born into a muggle family Willow always wanted to be accepted at Hogwarts. She was born after Hermione had graduated but loved to hear her sister's stories. Whenever she could get away with it she was examine Hermione's wand and dream about her day. Willow always kept up with her school work and if she hadn't been accepted at Hogwarts she could have most likly done anything she wanted.

When Willow was seven years old her mother was killed in a car crash and Willow was sent to live with Hermione and Ron. She loves being apart of the Weasly family along with everyone else. At eleven she recieved her Hogwarts letter and was eagar to begin her training to become a witch. She had first shown she had a magical ability at nine when she fell off a deck and stopped hersefl from hitting the ground.

Willow doesn't have many friends at Hogwarts and tends to keep to herself. Curosity has always been a fault for the young teen but she tends to be smart about her night time adventures.

Personality:Willow is an incredably smart student who follows in her older sisters foot steps. She is a kind heart but usually manages to get in trouble. Somehow Willow manages to keep up in all her classes and have a million adventures.

At this time in Willow's life she is haveing a little trouble going through puberty and dealing with life in general. With questioning herself at everyturn Willow often is not the best person to have in a duel,unless it is life or death,then she will overcome her fears and stay strong for her friends and what she believes in.

Personality: Roxy's personality is quite energetic. She is almost always happy and cheerful. Very few things can bring her down. She is loyal, caring, sweet, and always ready to give advice.

Other Relations: Uncle is Ted Tonks, Father of Nymphadora Tonks

Background: Roxy was born in London to Joseph and Marie Tonks. Her mother stayed at home with her while her father worked as a banker. The idea of wizards and witches was completely unknown to her until the day she recieved a letter two months before her 11th birthday from her uncles Ted Tonks. He asked her if she had recieved a letter from Hogwarts.

This letter stirred many emotions in her family. Roxy couldn't believe that her uncle had been kept secret or that she had an aunt and cousin who are witches. One month later she recieved a letter from Hogwarts telling of her acceptance into the school.

This is Roxy's 6th year at Hogwarts. She scored well on her OWLs and can't wait to start this next year in school.

-Background: Lilly was originally born into an extremely religious Muggle family, and when she was three, her raw magical talents became evident to her family, and they abandoned her at the local orphanage. Over the next several years, she was shunted from orphanage to orphanage each time something strange happened as a result of her un-harnessed magical abilities.
When she turned eleven, she received her letter from Hogwarts, and was only too happy to have a reason to even temporarily leave the orphanage?other children picked on her, and she had no close friends. At Hogwarts, she found herself among others who had the same abilities as she did, and she excelled in her studies.
Only recently, she was adopted by Bill and Fleur Weasley, after being brought to their attention by Bill?s brother Ron and his friend, Hogwarts Headmaster Neville Longbottom. Though she is happy to finally belong to a real family, she has become curious about her biological family, and the reason as to why they turned her away.
-Personality: Lilly is a quiet, shy girl, but is usually friendly. She is also a bit of a loner, and tends to keep to herself. This has become somewhat difficult since she was adopted into the large Weasley family.
Another unexpected result of her adoption was a sudden insecurity, a fear of letting her newfound family down, and Lilly thinks this is the exact opposite of how she should feel.

Alright here's the CS for the character I will be playing aside from my GM duties. When we get a few more people I'll give an introduction and we can get this ball rolling.

Hair: Wispy Gray (Used to be brown)

Looks: Often wears robes of solid white to try to ensure his purity and innocence. He wears a hat to cover his bald spot and usually wears boots made of dragon hide

Special Features (Looks): Wispy Gary hair that seems to stand vertically around the top of his head in a crown shape

Personality:
He is a great teacher of facts and as a result is easy to understand and can get his messages across to audiences who would otherwise be hard to communicate with. He usually prefers to be alone when not teaching because beyond that he has a very failing personality. This leads him to believe that there is more to life than he already knows of. He hopes that one day he can find out what is missing in his life and find the reason for his existence. His questioning personality is only overlapped by his powers of persuasion.
He can persuade anyone to do anything and make people believe things that never happened. This is, in part, due to his interrogation skills and, in part, due to his legilimancy skills. He seems to perceive the truth and therefore people find it difficult to hide things from him. He has also taken to being one of the nosiest people in the wizarding world because of this.

Background:
Martin Golan was born into an Irish family living in England. Along with being the one of the last pure-blooded Irish families in existence, his started to drop into depression and blamed it on the Ministry of Magic. Being the youngest child this made him especially mad because he was used to getting what he wanted. When this happened his parents readily joined Lord Voldemort and returned to Ireland with the children to start a branch of the Death Eaters there. Once he turned legal age he left his family to live with his friend from school Severus Snape who had recently become a Death Eater. He thought Snape was the coolest because of this and couldn?t wait until he could join. Two weeks after discovering Severus? secret he had a change of heart after his entire family was murdered by the Order of the Phoenix in a duel over the Potters. Since that day he saw the error in their ways after he thought about what they were doing. He then became one of the more anti-Voldemort people in society, becoming a member of the Order of the Phoenix, and was delighted when Snape switched sides. He then went into hiding because it was said that although Voldemort was gone his followers would love to have the big-mouth Irishman Martin Golan under their control.
When he came out of hiding after the battle between Harry and Voldemort, he asked if he could teach at Hogwarts. The members of the Order didn?t want this because they felt abandoned them in there time of need by hiding from Voldemort in Belgium for over 30 years and Headmaster Neville Longbottom didn?t like the idea of Martin around young kids because he got a bad feeling from him. In the end Martin was offered a job at Hogwarts as the school?s first Occlumency teacher, a Defense Against the Dark Arts class for 6th and 7th years.

Hair:straight black hair with red streaks down the bangs that covers her left eye.

Skin:slightly pale

Looks:Wears traditional Gryffindor robes with her last name embroidered above the house crest. Rather tall and thin.

Special Features (Looks):Wears a necklace with two werewolf fangs and two werewolf claws on it. Long scar from the top of her hairline to the bottom of her jaw. abnormally long canine teeth. Wears an armbrace that she never takes off.

Personality:Jade is a very nice person, and tries to be equal to every person she meets. She is very competitive and is seeker and captain on the Gryffindor Quidditch Team. She is very good with leadership and is one of the smartest students in the seventh year. She is very intrested in werewolves. she is quite the prankster and is extremely funny. Rather shy though and acts slightly wolfish.

Family:In her family runs the lines of the Black Family and some muggleblood through Nymphadora Tonks' family and bloodlines from Remus Lupin's side of the family. Strong magic descendants and bloodlines.

Other Relations(Friends, aquaintances,etc.):has been to the Ministry of Magic hundreds and hundreds of times with Remus. Has encountered Aurors such as Kingsley Shacklebolt and Alastor Moody who have told her that she has much talent as an Auror. Great Friends with Fred and George Weasley.

Background:Born in Romania, as is therefore considered Romanian, even though her parents live in London, England and they currently still live in London. At the age of 9 she heard something outside in the night and upon going out to investigate, she was bitten by a werewolf. Upon waking from the bite's fury, she had stitches from her hairline to her jaw and numerous other clawmarks. Since then, she has been a werewolf such as Remus.
She began going to Hogwarts and the sorting hat and teachers were amazed to find that she was the child of Remus Lupin. Just as with Lupin she was an expert and Defense Against the Dark Arts and were farther ahead in academics than some of their second and third years.
Within her third year she had taken position on the Quidditch team as seeker. She was reasonably good and spent most of her time practicing. In a heated game again Slytherin for the Quidditch Cup, the opposing beaters teamed together and beat both bludgers her way as she reached out to grab the snitch and shattered her arm. Magic wasn't even usable to the injury and pins, rods and other metals were put in her arm to support it. She now wears an armbrace to brace it and to cover the scars.
After that, she went back into Quidditch and was deeply respected for the fact that she still played with an injury even before it had healed. The Next year she was given, and voted by the team for the position of captain, which she has kept ever since.

Nobody in the school knows except for the faculty and staff and the Quidditch team. She thinks it sets her apart from everybosy else for being odd, but she is extremely proud of her backgrounds and her werewolf blood.

Hair: long black down to half his ears and over his eyes

Skin: White fair

Looks: Really handsome, tall and attracts many girls


Special Features (Looks): His hair, his bright green eyes

Personality: He is a really shy guy. Doesn't talk a lot band keeps feelings to himself. He is nice and stands up to people he doesn't like.

He also has a very high temper. If things don't go correctly, he speaks up. But most of the time he is quiet.

Family: The black family

Background: He is the lost son of Remus Black. While Black served Voldemort, he had a wife. His wife and hime had a daughter named Madeline. After some time Madeline disapeered, because of Voldemort. Voldemort also killed Remus, and after Remus died, his wife gave birth to Jason.

Jason has always been looking for his long lost sister. He wonders where she is and vows to find her

Looks: Thin face, strong jaw. Big brown eyes.

Special Features (Looks): Nothing extremely distinctive

Personality: Rhys is a genuinely nice guy, despite being a Slytherin. He gets on well with the majority of the pupils, is happy to help new students who are being cornered by a goblin and tends to hang around with the more mature, female students (despite several warnings from the Headmaster)
Although he is generally well liked and popular, he is extremely tightlipped, and no one really knows much about him. However, they don't mind confiding in him as he is a very trustworthy individual.

Family: Rhys was born into a family of wizards and witches. Although not as widely renowned as, say, the Malfoys, his family have a reputation for better than average talent. However he is the first of his family to be placed in Slytherin.

Other Relations: Rhys is friends with the majority of Hogwarts. Teachers admire his work, and pupils admire his heart. However, he has been hanging around some of the more renowned students lately; namely Roxy Tonks , Lily Weasley and Jade Lupin. He also told Professor Golan, whom he often confides in, that luckily none of them have found out about the others yet.

Background: As soon as he was 5, Rhys' mum began teaching him in the simpler spells and potions. At the age of 10, his owl (which his mum had gotten him for his ninth birthday) delivered his invitation to Hogwarts. Obviously he was thrilled to accept.
Upon joining, he had excelled in his studies, and had almost beaten Hermione Granger's records but for a late exam entry due to a severed leg sustained in Quidditch.

OOC:I tried the email...but it;s not working. Someone is gonna have to be elected a GM. an election is really the only fair way to decide it. perhaps base it upon experience with HP?

Please accept my apologies for the interruption; I'd like to take a moment of your time. It would appear that Knaordyi has been absent for a few weeks, which I can only hope and imagine have been spent on an enjoyable or otherwise pleasant vacation peroid. Given that an interest still exists within this game, but there is no GM to lead it, I am happy to approve of a temporary GM to fill this void.

Note that the GM should be voted upon by all active members. A majority vote rules. Once a GM is elected, s/he is free to carry on this game as best they can in the original GM's stead. I would ask that you make an effort to stay true to the vision of Knaordyi, until such time as s/he returns. In the meantime, you have my blessing. I trust you will not disappoint me.

I'm still here, as well, but I've never GMed before, and have little interest in doing so.
