A question: I forget, are they going to start letting people post spoilers in *this* thread when the books etc. come out?

I hope not... I don't want to be turned to the Spoiled Side.

Q: Was anyone else spoiled for AOTC when Matt Drudge announced, on his Sunday night radio show in early 2002, that there was a "wedding" at the end of the next Star Wars film?

And if you were (or weren't) and you otherwise would visit DrudgeReport.com, or listen to his radio show, do you feel you would be reluctant to do so, because he might leak some major Episode III info?

Whaoh! Oh, baby!! I sure feel like he might spoil me beyond belief!

    Beware.

    BTW: Drudge rocks!

Wasn't spoiled for that, but won't listen to him at all now. I am honestly taking myself away from all media that I can cope with. For the few shows I do watch on TV, I always hold the remote for a quick MUTE and prepare to close my eyes. After today, we are under 50 days, I know we can make it with a little effort.

I've had a MAJOR scare last night--I was in the family car with the radio set on one of my sister's beloved hip-hop stations, when the Star Wars theme suddenly played and the disc jockey began talking about the "latest info" in Episode III. I instantly told my sister to change the station--thank god she listens to more than one.

Yup, radio stations are a threat as well [face_plain]

Beginning April 2, I am cocooning myself completely from every last form of media, be it television, radio, sites, et al. The only forums I'll visit from now on to May 19th is the 3NS and Dragonfare forums. The only show I'll still watch is 24--which is broadcast on Fox :( I'm definitely having that remote handy...

Today was rough. I went on my last merchandise run til May 20th. When I was at B&N, I picked up a copy of Insider #81. Right next to it, was issue #1 and #2 of the comic adaption. I was so tempted to open one and sneak a peek. I stayed strong though, but I feel it's time to go into hiding.

I think we all need to have a checklist for April/May, since this will be the roughest weeks starting on Saturday.

    Things to avoid:
    Movie Theaters
TV Commercials (all TV even better)
    Radio
    Book Stores
    Toy Stores
    Supermarkets (Snacks and Magazines especially)
    Convenience Stores (same as above)
Internet: If you can, turn your picture viewing off on your web browser so there's no surprises. You could also get a popup-free browser like FireFox and install the AdBlock plugin to block specific web sites.
    Usenet groups

    Web sites:
TFN (not the SFTF boards though ;))
    OS
    Starwarz.com
    Comingsoon.net
    Countingdown.com
    AintItCoolNews.com
    Wikipedia
    DarkHorizons
    ObsidianEnt.com
    Bioware.com
    CartoonNetwork.com
Other movie websites (Harry Potter, HitchHiker's Guide, etc.)
Any news entertainment/movie website (CNN, EW, E!Online, Vanity Fair, etc.)

If there's anything you'd like to add just let us know!

i would say that, if youve been accidentally spolied, dont feel too bad. i think its impossible now not to find out a few things. i mean its everywhere now. and for every thing you know about the film, they'll be 10 things you dont. 8 days and counting...

Yeah, it's almost impossible to avoid all things ROTS now. I have a cushion with me when I watch TV, and today I heard a commercial on the radio. I was luckily quick enough to cover my ears.
