I can't scan 'em, but I've got mine today

Thursday 19th, 8:20pm, screen 8 at the Warner Village Cinema in Plymouth...woo!

 

Man, I have no clue why you guys have such overpriced movie theatres. I have no scanner to show my ticket, but it is considered a matinee like normal, and is only $6.25! My theatre isn't a country one either, and it got huge crowds for all the star wars films so far.

 

I picked up my midnight show tickets yesterday, they are $9.75 each. Ouch!

Of course that isn't as bad as the ticket for next week. Here's the email confirmation on that:

"I?m so glad that you will be joining us for the Children's Defense Fund?s Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith benefit on May 12th at the Uptown Theatre. This email serves as confirmation of your ticket purchase. We deeply appreciate your gift of $500 for 1 ticket(s) to our event. An acknowledgment will be mailed to you for tax purposes. Your ticket(s) will grant you early seating, admission to our special pre-screening reception at the Kennedy-Warren, and a gift bag. Tickets will not be mailed. You will need to bring a picture ID with you for early check in at the Kennedy-Warren (3133 Connecticut Ave NW). The special pre-screening reception will begin at 5:30 pm. If you choose not to attend the reception, you should bring a picture ID to the theater for check in where you will pick up your ticket(s) on the day of the event. Doors will open at 7:00 pm."

 

My tickets were £6.30 each, fact-fans.

 

I got a similar type of confirmation in the mail, stormcloud8. I'll have to pick up my tickets around 12pm that day.

I'll get mine when I get to the theater the day I go see it.

Either Friday the 20th or Monday the 23rd at an early showing while most people are stuck at work or in school. I'm homeschooled and crowd-phobic.

Oh man! I'm picking up the tickets at the theatre on opening day.

I live in Sarajevo, Bosnia. I got them for 6 Bosnian Konvertible Marks each. That's around... 4 bucks each. The national premier is at 8pm on the 19th. (around 2pm Eastern Standard Time - Bosnia is in Europe if you didn't know).

As for the quality of the theatre... much is left to be desired. pretty bad seats, bad sound, etc... At least the movie will be in English! The coolest thing is the balcony. Yes, they actually still have balcony seating for movies here!

Anyway... hope you all enjoy it as much as I'm going to!

 

When I watched 'AVP', only then did I decide it be a cool idea to keep the tickets.

I wont be able to show you guys my tickets for Episode III until I see the movie.

 

I have in my possession a ticket for the midnight showing at the AMC Theater in Spokane, WA.

My friend, Nick, from the Spokantina fan force chapter bought 20 advance tickets for $6.50 apiece (he got the student rate). Since I only had two fives on me when I met him to pick up the ticket, I told him to keep the change---it will be worth it.


Heads up, folks, we're almost there ---

 

The tickets were finally released today and I've got mine for the midnight-showing. I think I'm in love with a piece of paper.

I've taken it up and looked at it at least ten times since I bought it. Can't believe I actually have it!

PS: 100 kr is somewhere between 13-14 US dollars.
