    After C4 I"m going to get the vest/cumberbun/pouches for the biker and get that DONE!
    I can't even thing about the "other" one till the biker is complete and I re-do the Jawa.
    No more armor for me, I gotta finish what I have before I start a "new" one.

    I would like to offer to help anyone that needs sewing done. I would say I am a beginner, but willing to help if anyone needs it.

    All I need to do is remove or cover up the zippers on the flightsuite/gloves and add the required leather to both. Not a big deal but still sewing using a machine is not my best suit.

    It never fails. I finally get my boots and they are too big! This has to be the only boot place where your shoe size and boot size are the same. Every other pair of boots I've tried on have been one size bigger. *sigh*

    I've got some costume modifications to make. Wearing the stuff at C4 made it easier to determine what needs adjusted.

    Better too big than too small.

    Can you wear fluffy socks or insoles to make them fit better?

    I'll test that. I could return them but they charge restocking fee.

    I will try (I got a last min. interview in PHX Monday at 8:30 AM) but their is very little chance I'll have the [image=http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d130/hal9k1/Scout%20Trooper/BunkerScouts.jpg]fully ready by the 30th. I will try to get it at least mostly done, enough to wear for a bit at least[image=http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d130/hal9k1/Scout%20Trooper/TopScout.jpg]. Not like I have to be totally finished, looks like this "costume malcunction" slipped into the film. [face_thinking] Even LucasFilm has it's bad armor days[image=http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d130/hal9k1/Scout%20Trooper/HelmetBiker.jpg].

    Gawd willing I'll be able to make the Scout boots and attach the holster before the 30th.

    If so anyone else want in while I make them? I know other footwear is the same or close enough.

    If I'm going to have the tools and materials out and such I dodn't know if anyone else wants in to use what's tools are out and any vinyl.

    Im a tough guy...but I not too tough to bake. I wish I'd learned how to sew, and use a sewing machine. I friggin bought my sister a sewing machine just so she could help a brother out once and a great while....but Nooooo she is too buisy with other things than to help her poor little brother who wants to have his suit up and running for the Reid park zoo thing. Bah! Sisters...they are over-rated. :rolleyes: thanks for listening.[face_blush]

    anyone got any good sources for various sewing and attatching?

    Yep, I have contacted Chris, and asked him to get my number to her, but I have heard no response...We'll see if she calls me this next week, then after that I will have to seek outside help as we have hospital visits coming up, and then the Reid Park Zoo.

    <snip from Ep. 6 Novel> When he reached the elevator to the Emperor's tower, he found the door closed. Red-robed, heavily armed royal guards flanked the shaft, seemingly unaware of Vader's presence. Out of the shadow, an officer stepped forward, directly in Lord Vader's path, preventing his further approach.
    "You may not enter," the officer said evenly.

    Vader did not waste words. He raised his hands, fingers outstretched, toward the officer's throat. Ineffably, the officer began to choke. His knees started buckling, his face turned ashen.

    Gasping for air, he spoke again. "It is the...Emperor's...command."
    [image=http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d130/hal9k1/GuardsAttackingVader2.jpg]
    Like a spring, Vader released the man from his remote grip. The officer, breathing again, sank to the floor, trembling. He rubbed his neck gently.
    "I will await his convenience," Vader said. He turned and looked out the view window. <snip>
    [image=http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d130/hal9k1/VaderChokingOfficerROTJ.jpg]
    It's been an idea that the Guards are not attacking the Officer but Vader for chocking the officer... they all had orders not to let ANYONE see the Emperior. Remember the Emperior saying to Vader rather annoyed "I thought I told you to remain on the command ship". That scene took place right after the above outtake.

    Early Draft of the script: (Scene 68+70- not used or shot but re-written and then shot)

    INT DEATH STAR - CORRIDOR TO EMPEROR'S TOWERDarth Vader walks down the corridor to the Emperor's Tower and private elevator. The Emperor's private guard steps in Vader's path.

    GUARDHalt! The Emperor does not wish
    to be disturbed at the moment.

    VADER (raising his gloved hand to the two
    guards and choking them with the Force)
    The Emperor will see me, now!

    GUARD
    (repeating Vader's command)
    The Emperor will see you, now.

    Now that (guards being attacked by Vader) I would have liked to see
