Cheaper than Yankees or Mets games by a long shot.

And Trenton Thunder games would kick rear end as well.

Ya know, I would love to go to any of those...except wrestling. I'm game for any kind of sport. Ranger, Devils, Yankees, Mets, Phils, BlueClaws, Thunder, Dragons...ANYTHING!

I'm a die-hard Yankee fan, but, going to a Phillies game would be financially and accessibly easier. The tickets are cheaper, guaranteed seats and it's easy to get to(right off of 295). It's not as bad as everyone makes it out to be.

Guess what...I believe that the Yankees are coming to Philadelphia this year...so why not get the best of both worlds?

And when I went to the Yankees game last year...I did not spend a whole lot more than I do at the Phillies games...

 

Actually Satimber, the Red Sox are going to the Phillies, not the Yankees. I have a 2003 Printout schedule above my desk. I think next year in the new Stadium the Yankees visit, although I'm not sure. ?

 

Well...you know I will be at all 3 games that year.


Anyways...i was just thinking...we should also take a trip to South St. in Philly one day.

 

That's not a terrible idea, Satimber. It's snowing pretty heavily up here as well.

Take advantage of the weather and the places around you. That's my opinion. Philly, New York City, the Shore, whatever.

 

That sounds great actually. I like going to the Vet for Phillies games...not sure why...

And the Yanks are playing the NL Central this year. Cubs, Reds, Cardinals and Astros. They'll play the NL East next year.

well..I know that they are still doing some regional Interleague games too...so I thought that this year the Yanks & Phillies would be a series...doesn't matter...




If the Cubbies are going to Yankee Stadium...I am going...the chance to see Sammy there is too great to miss...

Hopefully I can get to my seat before he hits a home run...unlike barry last year.

 

Actually, their in Chicago and Cincinnati. They'll be home for St. Louis and Houston. I'd be interested to see Houston. I've always like them. I saw St. Louis against the Mets a few years ago and got to see Mac hit a dinger!

The Phillies have some great interleague games at the Vet this year. In the beginning of June they play Oakland and Seattle back-to-back. Then in mid-June, the Phils play the Red Sox. I think we should def. do one of those series for a game. Of course Mike and I wanted to go to those games regardless.

 

I will be able to squeeze in 2 games tops in baseball...now these other things like Arena Football & Lacrosse are much cheaper...

 

Yeah you got that right Herb. I want the Phils to beat the hell outta the Sox.

I think arena football is pretty cool actually. It's like the CFL; not quite football but entertaining.

They have most of the same rules...but a longer & wider field...and they have fewer downs to get a first.

EDIT: Looks like a hitch in the plan on the AFL...

Apparently the Trenton team has closed down. They are not on the active teams of either the Arena League or Arena League 2.

So the options would have to be NY which is playing on Long Island or Scranton-Wilkes Barre.

 

I would have to say hockey because it's the only sport I like other than NASCAR. And since we don't have a local track, it's the only other sport I'm willing to sit and watch.

 

yeah...but trying to get Flyers tickets (eww) and then Rangers tickets are too expensive...and who really wants to watch the Devils.




I wonder if the Lacrosse League has a website?
