I've watched one scene from A Serbian Film. It was... gah. Bad, bad, bad idea. Then again, that pretty much describes my freshman year of university.

Oh, right, First World Problems: Capstone research.

 

I'm finished with season 2 of Arrested Development.

 

I didn't contribute to the survival of my species today, yet I don't feel guilty. Is that wrong?

 

It's been really quiet in the office since around 11 a.m. this morning. Turns out the phone system has gone down and no one knows how to fix it, not even our IT guy. Waiting for the phone company to send a repairman and enjoying the quiet.

 

I forgot I needed to go grocery shopping after work and must therefore buy breakfast with my coffee at Tim Hortons tomorrow.

 

i went to my favorite little italian restaurant for lunch but it was closed for no good reason!

 

Television remote disappeared.

 

Phone system still down. We probably have some angry customers at this point; must tell the IT guy to put a blurb on our website about it so they can email their complaints instead.

 

Dude...

 

The AC in the women's toilets is too cold.

 

I wish the Japanese toilet market would make it's way over here.

 

Apparently there is no more mail delivery on Saturdays.

 

My university library doesn't have an extensive collection of secondary sources on Roman history, so I have to use ILL.

 

My home printer is better than my work printer. Why am I more high tech than my employer?

I got a new company car and it's not a colour I particularly like.

 

I'm making a run to an electronics recyling and 2 of my roommates aren't answering their texts as to whether or not their stuff in the living room is going or isnt supposed to go.

 

The weather forecast is predicting freezing rain within the hour, making it unlikely that I'll have a good window to go grocery shopping.

... Though I suppose that's more of a "Not on the East Coast" problem.

 

I am still on a used book quest. I looked up and mapped my way to one today. Turns out it was not a used bookstore and therefore useless to my purpose.

 

I used my iPhone to find a Chinese restaurant and the GPS led me to Pizza Hut.

 

I had a wonderful lunch with fourteen of my friends and delicious, delicious food and so now I am feeling a little overfull.

 

There are conflicting histories but one says the Chinese invented pizza.

 

I did not get to take a nap today
