Force Smuggler Why no? He'd make a great Imperial Knight, imo.

 

Why would the Empire want him? Cardia? Plus the Empire is rigid in control and order and Kyp is not those things

 

He could be those things, though. He knows order and control, given that he was a Commander of his own squadron. Without order and control that wouldn't have worked at all. I think he'd be a pretty good Imperial Knight IF he were in charge. Not as a "member".

 

Depends on how close the current regime was to Carida. Nobody made too much noise about Pellaeon's murdering being brought on board

Also, rigid and in control is a great way to describe the Jedi Order as well. The ideals of the Imperial Knights would fit well with Kyp from NJO, which is to defend the Empire and Emperor in what ever fashion is required. They don't have to sit around and worry about being non aggressors, worry about the will of the Force, that type of stuff. They can see, judge and react without being shackled with Jedi regulations.

Also Kyp was always tight with Jaina. If she goes I could see him going as well.

 

I'll give you that about Tahiri. But would Jag be as lenient as Luke was in the NJO? Kyp would benefit in the IK's but I don't think he would do it.

 

Kyp should be the main character in the ST.

 

Except Kyp isn't that easy to kill. Anyone who pays attention knows this

 

I'd love to see Kyp in it. Hell, I would've loved to have seen an action figure of him. I would've bought three.

I've always been going to make a Kyp custom, but just have never quite got completely rolling on it. I even have the body parts for him and concepts kinda sketched out, just haven't put it into action as yet.

 

So, in terms of discussing a character as per the current EUS disucssion, my suggestion would be that the Kyp Club could take part even without talking about Kyp directly.

Characters like Miko Reglia or Wurth Skidder would kinda fit as discussion topics since they both have some ties to Kyp.
