List of things you didn't like about ROTS

What didn't I like about ROTS? The Mace bashing threads that cropped up after it's release

Is not liking Mace, or seeing flaws in his character bashing?. god knows we don't all have to see things the same way do we?. it seems like that lately.

Its like people took everything bad that happened in the film and stuck it all on Mace's back.

Like the film was called, "Star Wars: Episode III - Mace Windu's Failure".......lol

Assign the blame equally to Qui Gon Jinn, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Mace Windu, Yoda, and Anakin

 

OH come on man! how can you even say " The Dark confessions of Jedi master Mace Windu" with a straight face?

 

that thread had been here for a while and had some delusional postings. I admit to contributing to aloot of the good Mace threads (I.e. Mace wasn't the right man for the job) I also think that Mace was a good symbol of the flawed Jedi of the PT. Anyays, This thread has been going on for far too long!

 

i can't . that title is funny! . but i don't think that people who see him in a not so positive light are bashers. some go to extremes , but not all . some people genuinely have issues with him that are legit. I just thing Basher is a dirty word.

oh come on, all these threads try their hardest to pin full blame on Mace Windu. And they toss out the most preposterous, one-sided, hypocritical ideas. The anti-Mace crowd close their eyes and minds to the actions of pretty much all other characters and solely focus on Mace's flaws, making mountains out of molehills.
The crazy ideas and accusations that came out were utterly ridiculous, and even after seeing the movie, people continue to go out of their way to pin the blame for the Jedis' downfall on Mace. I bet they'd think Mace is even guilty of getting Padme pregnant.
The game of "Pin the Tail on the Black Guy" continues.

 

I don't like waiting 3 more weeks until it's official DVD release. I don't like
that it's all over. Other than that, loved it.

 

The scenes were to rushed,and the Obi and Grievous battle was pathetic in the sense that grievous killed dozens of jedi and sliped up when fighting obi-wan. Obi-wan did'nt even get scratched or cut by anything!!!!!!!!

 

Yeah, that's about it for me too.

Don't worry MystikalMaceWindu , Mace can still be perfect in YOUR mind. . I 'm no basher , but i'm also no Jedi groupie either. Some people can't even entertain the Notion that the Jedi misstepped in the PT. how silly.


P.S I love ROTS. , but Mace, Meh.

 

So expressing ones dislike for a particular part of a movie or an entire movie is now called nitpickyness? If you don?t enjoy the thread DON?T READ IT. Some of us need a place to vent/waste time at work.

 

Some of the dialogue and some overuse of CGI. Nothing major.

ROTS will become a classic like the OT. Just wait.

Or, I hope it does.

 

1. Obi-Wan's pretentious and stupid looking fighting stance (particularly in the Greivous scene)

2. I wish the Emporer was a little less hands on. (though still very impressed by the character)

3. Vader: Nooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!




Other than that it is my FAVORITE Star Wars film.

 

I wholeheartedly believe that the younger generation of fans who came to Star Wars with the prequels alone will carry the saga (as a whole) into classic-dome.

Well, it was said that this would be the darkest of all the films so as a fan I would say:

1. All the Jedi died.
2. Padme died.
3. The Republic crumbled.

As far as the story telling went:

4. I don't like how Anakin turned to the dark side because from the looks of AOTC, I had the impression that his turn was going to be because of a strained relationship with Obi-Wan.

5. David Prowse should have played Darth Vader in the end because Hayden Christensen was a little too bony to be inside that costume.
