Honestly, I only know the names of a few of the Jedi Masters by sight, and that's mainly because of this and other forums. I've found it's more important to know where to get information than to actually know all the information. And I like to share the source with others. I couldn't resist the gentle jibe, though.

I support the term "Go plastic" as the forum motto, although if you wind up using it in conversation, you're likely to get same weird looks. tongue.gif

Ooh, go plastic! I like the phrase too.
I would vote for Depa Billaba to go plastic, if I had to choose just one.

Definately Depa Billabi. I really don't care for the rest of the character designs at all. Ki-Adi, PloKoon, the dog, one eyed yoda, etc. THey are all nightmarish looking, not cool looking like the ROTJ Aliens.

I would have rather seen some familiar races on the Council, such as Walrusman, Hammerhead, Squid Head, Yakface, and more humans.

Well, I'm not discerning. As long as it's not a figure that's already been produced, I'd like to see all of them go plastic.

I go with Klo Poon because I think that is a Jedi with "marketability".

Yaddle, Evan Piell, Oppo Rancsis and Plo-Koon would be my picks.

I'm a fan of all of them, so I'd want to see all of them in plastic.

Eeth Koth is not the same race as Maul. Eeth is a Zabrack while maul is 'an unknown humanoid species'. They may turn out to be the same species but as of now they officially arent.

I watched RotJ yesterday and just had to post:

    I love Luke Skywalker!!!

Can we start the song lyrics now? Anyone remember "Holding out for a Hero" by Bonnie Tyler?

Found 'em!! I hereby christen thee Luke Skywalker fan thread with our first set of song lyrics! (At least I think they're the first!)

    HOLDING OUT FOR A HERO
    sung by Bonnie Tyler

Where have all the good men gone
And where are all the gods?
    Where's the street-wise Hercules
    To fight the rising odds?
Isn't there a white knight upon a fiery steed?
Late at night I toss and turn and dream of what I need.

    (Chorus)
    I need a hero!
I'm holding out for a hero 'til the end of the night.
    He's gotta be strong
    And he's gotta be fast
And he's gotta be fresh from the fight!
    I need a hero!
I'm holding out for a hero 'til the morning light.
    He's gotta be sure
    And it's gotta be soon
And he's gotta be larger than life.

    Somewhere after midnight
    In my wildest fantasy.
    Somewhere just beyond my reach
There's someone reaching back for me.
Racing on the thunder and rising with the heat,
It's gonna take a superman to sweep me off my feet.

    (Chorus)

Up where the mountains meet the heavens above,
Out where the lightning splits the sea.
I would swear that there's someone somewhere watching me.

Through the wind and the chill and the rain,
And the storm and the flood,
I can feel his approach like a fire in my blood.

    (Chorus)

    jumps up and down ecstatically

I found one! I found one!!!

Ok, I don't have the lyrics to this (but perhaps our fellow Broadway lover, Taramidala has them?), but here's one that I thought of . For some reason, Luke has always reminded me of Don Quixote, with his quest and his eternal idealism and optimism . I've always loved the song "To Dream the Impossible Dream" from "Don Quixote" and it fits our hero quite well!!

    Callie: I know it - hope T won't mind!

    THE IMPOSSIBLE DREAM

    To dream the impossible dream,
    To fight the unbeatable foe,
    To bear with unbearable sorrow,
To run where the brave dare not go.

    To right the unrightable wrong,
To love pure and chaste from afar,
To try when your arms are too weary,
    To reach the unreachable star.

This is my quest, to follow that star,
No matter how hopeless, no matter how far.
To fight for the right without question or pause,
To be willing to march into Hell for a Heavenly cause!
And I know if I'll only be true to this glorious quest,
That my heart will lie peaceful and calm when I'm laid to my rest.

And the world will be better for this,
That one man, scorned and covered with scars,
Still strove with his last ounce of courage,
    To reach the unreachable star!!

Hey ladies! Sorry I've been a hermit like Old Ben, but it's finals time here at school.

Trace and Callie, nope, didn't have the lyrics for that song, but THANKS! They work great!

Okay, enough from the stressed-out peanut gallery here in NY. G'nite all!
