Calgary Meeting soon?

Are we going to have a pre-Con-Version meeting? Since I've missed some big events lately (Jay, please don't hate me), I'd love to get together and discuss what's coming up next.

A pre-con meeting next week would be good.

How about we try a new location:
7:00pm, Monday July 24th
Boomtown Lounge
135 Southland Drive SE (at Macleod Trail S)

Topics to be discussed:
-Con-version 22 & our room party "TruceFest II"
-Tshirts for DragonCon/Celebration
-Bookclub with StacyD (whats the first rule of bookclub?)

 

We don't talk about Bookclub. . .

But seriously, a meeting next week or so might work out. This week I'm working afternoons and I've got Clerks II madness on Friday, but any day after that works with me.

Have fun! And...............if you want, come on out to Banff, and visit me at work, here at the Banff Springs Hotel! I'll give you a tour (if it's quiet, and it usually is not too bad).

 

Boomtown is on the opposite corner as "New York New York." It is part of the hotel where the Con-version convention is being held in August.

Sorry I didn't make it tonight. I took my son skating athte olympic oval and at 8pm I went duh! I remebered about the meeting.

Must remember to check forum more often...missed the meeting LAST NIGHT.

Was hanging out at the beach (McKenzie Lake) watching kids and some Stamps play frisbee...interesting training tchnique and lots of body-contact...whoever did not get the frisbee had to drop and do 10 push-ups.
