As we all try to celebrate a day off work, retail sales, and BBQ's, please remember the real reason for this holiday.

The Vietnam wall, in its simplicity is incredibly powerful. The many names on a wall stretching as long as it does brings home impact of those who served and sacrificed.

 

Dale and I are going to visit our dad at Golden Gate National Cemetery today. I believe there's a ceremony at 11 am.
