I know that they have not been in stores for many years now, but I was always wondering, what the heck? I don't want to sound morbid, but did a child choke and die? If this is what happened, why didn't they just stop producing the figures? I am not talking about Action Fleet. What's the deal?

    I hear ya, man.

Star Wars Micro Machines were great. I hated Action Fleet, they weren't "micro" anymore.

I miss the folding head playsets. I had them all.

I remember when they had packs of like 20 tiny figures. I must have bought like 5 packs of Stormtrooper figures.

    Bring back Micro Machines! :_|

Those Army builder packs were great! I was hoping to add Battledroids for TPM and Clones for AOTC but they never released any :(

Jim Fong ( maker of all those great
Micro Machines ) told me when Hasbro bought up Galoob they fired all employs
    and made it their business.
After the poor sales of Ep 1 toys that
were way overproduced they had to cut back on certain lines like the Galoob devision.

There are so many great things flying around in my head what PT Micro Machines products could be made but they will all be lost like tears in the rain....
    :(

The Micro Machines line is still continuing, just on a smaller scale.

There are G.I. Joe Micro Machines on the shelves in some places...vehicles in the "classic" MM scale, Action Fleet type figures, and a few playsets.

Of course the revived Star Wars Action Fleet bears little similarity to the original products of the same names. Outside of the repaints the new molds are being more designed as small models than Action Fleet...as they don't feature spots for the figures or the usual Action Fleet compartments & such.

DarthMak thinks the same way I do.

Yes, I saw those new Micro Machines
and all I can say is that they lost all
    of their quality.
Those G.I. Joes are only repaints.
What I like about the newer Micro Machines is that nostalgic feeling when you look at them. They somehow look
    like they looked in 1987.

But why only have racing cars or military
stuff ? Why no figurines anymore?
Where are normal cars, trains, planes,
ships, building machines and the rest?

Galoob will stay the best toy company ever.
My mom always bought them for me when I was a child because she liked
    them very much.
I am really glad she has such a good taste. :)

Maybe someday we will see them again.
A real comeback is what the Micro Machines need.
