N by NW: Halloween Weekend meet

It seems that there is a few of us from the west coast up for a Halloween meet on this side. All I need is names and numbers for this and I'll book it through Shiverpool So when is the best day for this? Anyone want to meet on the 31st?




EDIT: Oh by the way it's £7 for the tour, but if we get 10 or more we can get a concession of £5

 

Alas, 31st is midweek which may make it difficult.

Not sure if we will be able to make it yet. Hopefully we will, but will have to see - probably let you know end of Sep.

 

!! Kept forgetting I need to post in here, sorry!

The only problem I forsee is the day we do it. I am so up for this as a meet, but we need a good day, and I'd prefer weekend. Tuesday will be busy probs with these kind of things, and Tuesday is my late day in work. I'll be in Bootle which is not that far away, but I work lateish. Could we possibly do on the Sat (or Sun) before? Would you be able to do that Coz? Or if not I could in theory do Monday, as I am off work then. But I am so there, happy to do a halloween FF meet

 

I thought Tuesday might have been a problem, but can hurt to ask. I'm happy to do it at the weekend, either Saturday or Sunday.

So when can everyone meet up for this, I can do the Monday but I book the weekend off if needs be.

 

Would have to be a Saturday for us.

 

I'd say Saturday will be the best day for me, I could in theory do a Monday since I work Tuesday - Friday. Tis a prob when we have some people who work weeks and some who work weekends.

 

So it's looking like the Saturday the 28th then, everyone cool with that?

 

Aye - will see about bringing some friends, i.e. the terrible twosome Carol and Jon lol They seem interested, but just got to clarify. They'd join up here if they had internet at home - must speak to Tim about honourary offline membership

i'm turning into worse disorganized than i have been at home (bad genes or something). when are we going? i think we still might have the party on monday or tuesday, but that leaves the weekend free. or have it on monday and go to shiverpool on tuesday?

Ok we've got a date but not a time or which walk we're doing.
Which one takes your interest, The Hope Street Shivers or The Maritime Shivers? Both walks start at 7pm, 8:30pm and 10pm.

 

Either suits me, but a 7pm start would be appreciated Should be nice and dark by then.

 

I'm cool with 7pm, give us a chance to get a stiff drink after if we need one

 

7pm is fine, though I guess if people want to meet before I am up for that. I'll need to eat so maybe we can go to the FF-UK NW meal place Coz beforehand? What you reckon? Want to do anything else on the day?

FP have V for Vendetta masks, I am so tempted to get one lol.

 

I didn't think about bringing others to have the Kimos experience, if we're going with the Hope Street walk it's near by. Wonder if it's move to the new localtion.


Can't think of anything else to do, but I might need to buy some comics so I'm ok with going to FP
