Could Barris Offee be positioned right next to Luminara on the other side of her, and this angle doesn't show her?

She can't be dead! right?

My girlfriend hopes she is dead because of my strong interest in this young padowan learner...

Well my best guess - and only a guess - is that the dead jedi's legs and boots belong to the "fancy pants" jedi stand in (the white guy with the two light sabers - long dark hair - braided?) that Ki-Edi mentioned back on page 18. I think Ki was right. Here's his picture:

As for Barriss...as I've been saying she could be dead at this point - she is literally part of Luminara, melding with Luminara's double jointed sweeps and merging their with her coordination. So if the two are separated, what happenede? And I can't see Barriss in the picture.

Jesse - I'm sorry that the renumbering never worked on that picture above. To match the original last stand...you needed Anakin to be 14 and Padme to be 15. Also, Shaak was #5 in that above picture, because that was her number in the original circle (next to the falling jedi - remember?)

So in the top picture by Grilled-S, is that Luminara all the way to the left or barriss. This picutre is still strange because Shaak is at the back, and she moves down and right for the final circle picture...right?

Finally, has anyone been noticing that we don't see dead jedi. This might be better discussion for a : "are the jedi disappearing thread?" Hmmmm...

 

I thought Plo-Koon was flying a Jedi Starfighter during this part...

Yep- thats definatley a human form. see the hand? The figure is almost in a featal position. Lying on his side. From the pic by GS, I think its a he- and probably our "fancy pants" jedi.

 

In the unfinished pic of the circle that is after the droids stop firing. You can tell because most are looking were the Count should be, while Anakin and Obi stand ready to fight. So were is Mundi in that pic.

 

The dead jedi's probably the 2-saber fancy guy. That person behind Padme in the pic sure looks like him. I guess Mr. Fancy-Pants got all shot up.

 

This circle's making me all batty in the head. How many different versions are there? 3 or 4? And why are there so many out there anyway?

I wonder who the lucky person is who gets to explain this to me...

Due to lack of room for swinging lightsabers Shaak Ti is forced to the inside of the circle giving others more room.

Ki and Plo are then herded into the circle (I think this occurs before Dooku calls off the fight because note:

Shaak Ti is out of shot (to the right), and Luminari is behind Mace (note the lightsabre sticking up).

Look right behing mace's head you can see a piece of plo's head.But then where is ki because he makes it to the gunship that can be see in the Mace tralier.

No, not really, for two reasons;

Skill with the lightsabre and in combat is not the only criteria for being on the Council.

If I was Mace I would deploy my best troops as squad leaders and have them dispersed around the Arena. For them to make up the majority of the survivors at the end is down to convenient storytelling rather than a realistic assesment of thier survival chances.
