I don't know if I mentioned this or not, but my wife and I are expecting another child. We found out it's a boy so we were thinking of names. I threw the name Anakin at her just to see what her reaction would be. To my surprise, she is actually considering that name!!! I was like WoW! So what do you guys think? Should I have a new Padawan named Anakin? Hmmm..... The chosen one he may be. :D

I have a bad feeling about this!!

Congrats, man!! Well the way I figure it, if I can have dogs named Endor, Luke, Leia, and Obi-Wan.....you can deffinitly have a son named Anakin.

Hey DRK_HLMT, congrats man! If you and your wife are happy with Anakin, then I say go with it. I like it, it's better than using Chewbacca. [face_laugh]

Yeah, I was thinking of Chewbacca, but then he might get a complex if he's not hairy and short. :D

Well DRK_HMLT & wife congratulations. I never had any doubt that CCFF men are virile. :D
What is your current son's name? It isn't Jacen by any chance? [face_laugh] I like the idea of Anakin if your wife does. But check with son #1, first. Will he like the idea? Don't want the guy living in the shadow of the "Chosen One".

    Congrats DRK_HLMT!

I'm not too good with naming babies, so stick with your first choice. ;)

If it were me, I would lean to something more common that his friends cant tease him about.......like Ishi Tib. (Just joking) Anakin is a GREAT choice!!

My other son is named Brandon. I named him after Brandon Lee, Bruce Lee's son who died filming The Crow. I wanted to name him Brandon Lee Myers but the wife didn't go for that although my middle name is Lee and it would have tied together nicely. But we went with Brandon Thomas. At least I got the Brandon part! hehe. But she is actually considering Anakin and my son liked it too. Although he wanted to name him Jar Jar, Dexter (From Dexter's Laboratory), or Spongebob.

    Dear DRK_HLMT:
Congratulations! I expect that this new addition to your family can bring new light to your life. A son is a gift we need to cherish and protect. Teach him all you know, so he can be a better man.

"Pass on what you have learn."

    Congratulations once again!

"I have the feeling, this baby will be a great Jedi. I see him with his brothers and sisters Jedi bringing peace to the galaxy."

May the Force be with all of you...always.

OK, when is Anakin due? Ladies of CCFF I see a baby shower coming up with a Star Wars Theme! Anybody up to helping me organize?

Given the choice I like Anakin better than Sponge Bob and Jar Jar. Although Dexter and Chissdude would have been good second choices. :D Maybe as middle names.
Anakin Chissdude. It has a nice ring to it, and no one would get it confused with the other Anakins.

Hey DRK_HMLT, are you sure it is a boy? A girl with the name of Anakin would be right weird.

Yes, it's definitly a boy. But now my wife is leaning toward Trevor for a name. I might be losing the battle here.

DRK_HLMT, do what you gotta do:

"Anakin is the name we're looking for."

Trevor could be a middle name.

This calls for a Jedi mind trick:

DRK_HMLT waves hand and says, "Anakin Trevor will be the perfect name."

Would it help if we all flooded her with e-mail telling her that all of us would be sooooooo disappointed if it wasn't "Anakin"? After all he is your second son, it'd be perfect! :D

    First of all, CONGRATS!! :D

If your wife really wants Trevor, maybe you can squeeze Anakin in as a middle name. Maybe when your son gets older he will like Anakin more (if it becomes a middle name) and go by that. I know a few people who prefer going by their middle name. :)
