Hey, I was looking to get into this game, but do not want to spend alot of money. I was wondering if this game required alot of money to have a good deck. I want to play, but do not want to put alot of money into it. So can this game be played on a budget?

You can pick up individual BOXES of the first 3 expansions for $40 or less. This would be the Attack of the Clone, Sith Rising and A New Hope sets. The Battle of Yavin expansion should start coming down more, soon, with the newest expansion about to hit the streets on Apr. 2nd.

Besides buying in bulk, you made me think of an idea for posting the more popular cards. These can be found individually on eBay or on websites where you can buy individual cards.

I'll try to whip up a list of "popular" cards in a following reply.

I didn't point out their merits or their rarity. This is by no means the ONLY cards you can use, and this is an "IMO" compilation. Some may agree. Some may disagree. Some may say I omitted cards. If they do, then their input can only help you.

I will say that the majority of unique Characters listed ARE rares. You can't get away from that. Most of the best units are rares, but a lot of the most widely used units are commons or uncommons.
