has anyone gotten this? i just happened to stumble upon it because i had no idea that they were even coming out with a new one.

 

It's on my wishlist.

It just seems like they just came out with a new one not that long ago.

 

The Star Wars RPG stuff has been stale for a while. However the Star Wars Minis seem to be like hot bantha fodder. Not than I can afford to buy 10,000 miniatures though.

 

yeah, i thought they "discontinued" the rpg series to focus on the miniatures.

 

Wizards is dumping a lot of resources into the D&D RPG, but the Star Wars RPG ended up being niche (within a niche). As such they couldn't sustain the business to keep it as fleshed out. AFAIK The Living Force is still being ran in the RPGA and had a presence at GenCon last year.

AFAIK - as far as i know (kinda tripped me up)

 

RPG is something that is foreign to me, as a kid I got a D&D set but mom and dad got rid of that very quickly. Something about the devil and possesion.

is anyone interested in gm'ing a game? cuz i've really been wanting to do a little rpg'ing lately. i was so desperate this weekend that i actually signed up for a 10-day trial of WoW.

 

Actually we sort of commissioned Travis (ArronBlackCross in CC) into running a game. I told him we would give him a month to work on the campaign setting. He seemed OK with it. Of course, that lands right around when my wife will pop, we'll see how Saturday nights change. Your prediction?

 

hmmm... maybe i'll host and you can stay home w/ mommy and baby.
