Spok, WA NEXT MEETING: Wednesday, Sept. 15th. LOCATION: Unknown...

Okay, as the title says, we've set a date for our next meeting, which might mostly be based around ironing out details concerning the Midnight DVD Release Party. Now we just need a location. Since I wound up getting a bunch of coupons from our last visit, I'm all for going back to the same Pizza Hut. But that's just me.

Anyway, in case anyone's interested in knowing, the first meeting went well. Everyone who showed up seemed really nice, and appeared to be lacking just the right amount of sanity to keep things interesting. A variety of topics were brought up, a couple of pictures were taken (for evidence), a round of quoting Python's Holy Grail was stalled (until I can brush up on it a bit more), and a couple of diets were thrown slightly off track... Mwoo-Hoo-Hwa-HaHaHaHaHaHa!

Overall, it wasn't a bad evening. I do almost feel sorry for our waitress, but I can't seem to figure out why.....

Oh yeah, Eledaia seems to have some good ideas concerning a website. And Nat seems to be in charge. I think that about covers the main stuff.

Anyway, let's decide on a place for the next meeting!

Other than my initial suggestion that we return to The Place Where Many A Diet Has Met It's Untimely End (aka, Pizza Hut ) I've got nothing in the way of meeting place suggestions.

Um, Nat, maybe I'm just slow on the uptake here, but what exactly did you mean by "Things are not always what they seem."? I mentioned a number of things that seemed a particular way: people seemed nice, Eledaia's seemingly good website ideas, you being in charge, the fact that the meeting seemed to go well???

Anyway, is anyone else checking this Forum or the Threads that we have here?

 

I was just continuing with the theme of the word "seem", plus I was extremely tired from cleaning camp. I don't think the comment was supposed to make much sense.

Pizza Hut doesn't bother me if that's what everyone wants.

I'll be in Colorado for the next few days (early birthday present). Laterz!

Sorry! I've been MIA for a while, but I'm still planning on attending our next meeting. I'm planning on designing a couple of flyers/cards to use as invites to hand out at the Hastings Party this month. We should probably have our NEXT meeting arranged so we can have something to advertise. I say lets just plan for Pizza Hut again, but let's get a corner booth this time!

I guess that about covers everything. Aww dammit! I forgot the cricket food! Again.

As far as what time to have the meeting, 7pm is still the safest time for me. That whole shower thing and all.....

Well, I haven't heard FROM him, but he has been on the Boards recently. So has FIGS. Is it possible that they got tired or bored with the whole FanForce idea?

Either way, we should probably see about getting some guys into the group. At this rate, I'll be the only one. Of course, that does give me a couple of great ideas for a name for our group:

STAR WARS Valkyries or FanForce Valkyries

Actually, I think I kind of like those. What do you "guys" think?
