Nick Nolte To Portray Han Solo

It has been officially announced on www.ipityuifubelievethis.com that Hollywood heartthrob Nick Nolte has been signed on to portray Han Solo in the upcoming Star Wars sequels. When asked about this, Nolte answered:

"I feel that the role of Han Solo should be done incorrectly, and if you want a role done incorrectly, I am your man." *winks at camera*

He's rumored to be a lost Jedi who survived the purge and fled to an unknown planet. He pilots a ship called the Century Eagle.

I can't buy these rumours about Han Solo. The OT got by without a rogue-ish character... so I see no reason why this new film needs anything of the sort.

 

Maybe because he's not just trying to remake the same old movie? I mean, I doubt there will be a lot of forced similarities between the two...
