I will not be there this week. However, I will be back for the November 3rd workshop

 

I will be there this week. using #8 or Dan's spot. Nov 3 and 17 are both no go's for me as I'll be out of town both days

I feel bad about nearly suffocating Anna but got much of my helmet flash sanded off today. See you all in two weeks.

 

LOL!! Don't feel bad!! I just have very sensitive allergies! Nothing an antihistamine, shower and fresh clothes couldn't cure! I am apparently sensitive to the fine particulate that was flying around the room. Note to self: wear a mask when others are sanding... ;-)

Nonetheless Michelle and I made excellent progress in our armor. Thanks again for the set up and I hope to participate in a few weeks!

Incredible news! Doug is buying a 3D scanner! It is able to scan objects 10'x10' and can reproduce them through a printer at 1:1 and smaller scale. Here is more info:

Bill thanks for all your help today. Definitely gave me some direction on where to go. I talked to Beckie about the Mando idea and she is thinking about it. I'll keep you posted. Those websites were very helpful. I think I will go more of the Mando warrior route as opposed to the Bobba Fett route. There's a bit more flexibility it seems with the design of the costumes and room for creativity.
