October's meeting agenda

Okay guys, meeting time is soon upon us. What do we want to talk about? Here are a few ideas from me:

Bowling for Kidsake

I'd like to have a couple minutes to sum up the fanfilm festival success.

we should also discuss under-age member dues...should we charge the same amount or less, etc...

DO we have any device for showing the CLone Wars preview to those who havent seen it yet? It is sycuk on my computer but I dont want to drag that around. DOug, you have it on a PDA right? You can pass that around?

 

According to the Official Site, The Clone Wars shorts will be available for download the same day they air. Not sure if that will make watching them in a meeting any easier.

Here is a couple of other items we could add to the agenda:

For new members it may be good to discuss the Christmas Toy Drive we hold every year. When we hold the meeting that will only be two months away.

Also, I can give a round up of where Episode III is at, plus my thoughts on the New Essential Guide to Vehicles and Vessels and the recently released Jedi Academy game.

Also, there was talk of A Street Games coming to do a presentation, but not sure about that one.

Also, I hope we can have the next round of the trivia contest at this meeting.

 

I can probably put the clone wars preview on VHS...I'll work on that

Did anyone take notes at the last meeting, or do I just forget the meeting minutes? I have no idea what was talked about, but I am thinking it was mainly the fan film fest. If so, then there really is no need to go over it again, since it will be summed up at this meeting. All those in favor, say AYE!!

 

AYE! That really was the focus of the meeting.

 

We also talked about why the new Transformers aren't as cool as the old ones, changing our name to the Idaho Falls Wampa Haters and we had an intervention for Adam's problems's with drugs and alcohol.

Is it too late to add something to the agenda?
I'd like to talk about a possible club road trip to Boise later this year for a Fanforce event. I will go into more detail at the meeting. Hopefully by then I can go into more detail.

What time and where is the meeting???

 

The meetings are the Second Friday of each month at the Idaho Falls Public Library. It is in the same room as the film festival. The meeting starts at 7pm and goes until 9. By the way, I would like to welcome you to the forum. My name is Erin, and I am the wonderful club Secretary.

Actually, this month we're in one of the smaller rooms near the room where the festival was held (all we could get).

You're more than welcome to come join us! Although because you're under 18, we ask that an adult acompany you at least this first time...
