Long ign interview with Dave Fillioni on the recent arc

 

Interesting interview though where he talks about ESB and Vaders revelation, instead of waffling on I wish he'd be honest and say Yeah we tried and failed too rip it off

 

Well, now we have confirmation that the Bo-Katan/Satine relationship was kind of shoehorned in. Refreshing to see the TCW team are pretty upfront in saying "Savage was meant to be Maul. Now we have the real thing we had to ditch him". It was obvious that was the case, but it isn't too often you get a writer willing to admit that sort of thing.

 

Great interview! I hope he gets the oppportunity to create the Bo-Katan/Satine backstory. And the Maul arc was certainly the death arc.

 

I have greater respect for them admitting that rather than trying to pass it off as "errm... yeah, this was the plan all along."
