Peter Mayhew's going to be at the con in october!

I think he has the same aversion to fans as his predecessor in the role of Obi-Wan Kenobi, the late Sir Alec Guiness. Must be a Jedi thing.

 

Same reason Harrison Ford doesn't go.

 

ewan McGregor is at a point in his carreer that he doesnt need to go to a convention,he has a great Movie carreer rolling right now,Same with Harrison Ford.

Its usually the actors you dont see in big blockbuster movies that go to these things

 

No one "needs" to go to a convention. THe only reason I can think of a person not going is their either too busy making movies, or they hate the fans.

 

I want Frank Oz to come to a convention. I wonder what he looks like?

 

I think he wears glasses and a beard. And is English.

He (originally) was a retarded homeless dwarf who lived on the street and talked backwards.
While Lucas was cruising the streets of LA one day (looking for homeless people to murder) he came across a weird looking guy he almost thought was a rat.
Lucas pulled out his Rambo knife and started walking towards him. Oz said "Away with your weapon, I mean you no harm."

Lucas laughed so hard at this that he spared his life. An idea hit Uncle George then that would change are lives forever.
He had a conversation with Oz about making a movie...and well, you know the rest.
