This is for all of you who lived your childhood, entered the midst of adulthood, and forgot all those marvellous retro cartoons you used to watch :p

The objective of this thread is to compile a list of as many 90's retro cartoons as possible. I'll start the list with a few, and other people can submit entries that will be discussed and either verified or rejected by other posters :)

Finally we will all vote on the *Best Ever Retro Cartoon* and feel all the better for it [face_laugh]

I will be updating the list everytime it grows substantially... let's aim for at least 100! Here's my thoughts so far:

    Ragidolls
    Bananaman
    Sharky and George
    Transformers (oh yes!)
    Thundercats
Boy Meets World (not a cartoon, but still cool)
    Duck Tails
    Tailspin
    Mighty Mouse
    Danger Mouse
    The Clangers
    Rod and Emu (!)
    Count Duckula
    X-Men

    Muppet Babbies
    Family Ness (an old favourite)
    Teddy Ruxbin
    Ghostbusters (possibly the best)
    Wizzadora
    He-Man
    She-Ra
    Noel's House Party (Soz, couldn't resist it :D )
    Pole Position
    Poddington Peas
    Albert the 5th Muskateer
    Dogtanian
    Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles
    Mighty Max
    Itsa Bitsa
Why Don't You (lame I know)
    Animaniacs
    Tiny Toons
    Scooby Doo
    Inspector Gadget
    Wacky Races
    Catch the Pidgeon
    The Racoons
    Button Moon
    Fraggle Rock
    The Jetsons
    The Flintstones
    Spot the Dog
    Byker Mice from Mars
    Bodger and Badger
    Roland the Rat
    Postman Pat
    The Queen's Nose
    Finders Keepers
    Bucky O Hare
    The Riddlers
Maid Marion and her Merry Men
    Phileas Fog

    Banana Splits
    Paddington Bear
    Greenclaws
Spatz (I love that sooo much)

    Scratchy and Co
    Nightmare (oh joy!)
    The Dreamstone
    Maxi's World
The Secret World of Alex Mac
    Saved by the Bell
    Gummi Bears
    Super Ted (and Spotty!)
    Button Moon
    The Moomins
    Batman
    Tug-Boats
    Goof Troop
    Rupert the Bear
    Bill and Ben (flowerpot men)
    Pigeon Street
    Huxley Pig
    The Shoe People
    Art Attack (still going strong!)
    Glo-People
    You and Me
    Mike and Angelo
    Grange Hill
    Bertha
    Clarissa Explains All...
    Goosebumps
    Rude Dogs and the Dweebs
    Aquila

Phew! Any other ideas guys? I bet this brings back a few memories [face_laugh]

Don't worry, I didn't compile these just like that, it was a pub game I was playing with my mates... So, any other takers?

    *sniffs*

i smell someone with far too much time to compile that list, but i wouldn't be surprised if you had that saved on your PC :p

It has to be Teenage Mutant Turtles for the best, the only really craze i got caught up and i loved it (it's meant to be coming back you know)

I contest the inclusion of the Simpsons as a kids cartoon, it is so much more

ok you've changed the thread's point while i was mid-post so i contest its inclusion as retro when any one with sense will tell you know it's better than ever!

    SHOW LOVE TO THE SIMPSONS!

How about Ulysses, Pirates of Black Water, Ludwig, Super Ted and The Mysterious Cities of Gold?

Not sure if these were around in the 90s but there are some of my favs from my younger days, which were a long long time ago ;)

EDIT: Oh yeah, Chorlton and the Wheelies :D

    My top ten:

    1. Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles
    2. Thundercats
    3. Ghostbusters
    4. Animaniacs (controversially among my split personalities)
    5. Rainbow (i still have an original zippy dressed (by me) in a man united shirt)
    6. Tiny Toons
    7. Scooby-Doo
    8. Catch the Pigeon (you have to sing the tune when you type that :D )
    9. Saved by the bell
    10. Mike and Angelo (patent pending)

i want to put sabrina the teenage witch in (damn she was hot from the perspective of a 13 year old :D and Salem is nearly as good a character as Bender) but i couldn't leave any of the others out. and yes i'm aware how sad it was to be watching such shows at 13 but it was on saturday mornings so i could just lay in bed and drool over Sabrina (i'm shallow but i'm happy)

My mates and I wanted to go on Knightmare, but we were always too pissed up on cider and we couldn't walk in straight lines, so we'd probably get 'sliced up' or something... [face_plain]

I always thought the people would do better without that stupid helmet so they could see where they were going - but then I guess they'd see the game for waht it really was. A blue screen.
