I have Peewee's Dance but I forgot all about the Rappin' Duke. That is some great stuff. Did you see the size of that boom box in the video. I remember seeing ones 4 times that size at the flea markets in Florida with all kinds of lights and stuff on them.

How about Sir Mix-A-Lot - Buttermilk Biscuits.

I expect the Pussycat Dolls to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in the near future. Great act there - not much to look at, but they sure do have great songs with lots of complex melodies and deep lyrics.

This one takes a minute to get through all the Ellen stuff, but it is worth it for one great version of Barracuda.

I was looking for a "4th of July" song to post here, and remembered that Soundgarden's 1994 studio album "Superunknown" included a song by that very name. It was a good album, a little at the back end of the grunge movement, but I couldn't find anything on YouTube that felt right for the SBFF Bar & Grill. So let's take a little Soundgarden, add in some Pearl Jam, and a touch of Mother Love Bone.

Long live grunge, an American original.

    Lynyrd Skynyrd - Tuesday's Gone

So here we are tonight...midsummer, looking out the window at the beginnings of a bee-ooo-tuh-full sunset...weekend's almost here. ROCK ON, SOUTH BEND!!! Whoooo!

Olivia Olson - All I Want For Christmas Is You (from Love Actually)

    Why? Take your pick:

    1) Christmas is less than 5 months away! [face_laugh]
    2) Watched Atonement last night, which stars Keira Knightly, who is also in Love Actually
    3) Love Actually is one of the best movies evar!
