I slept for twelve hours last night and am also feeling better.

 

Lord Zoom...did costuming happen? Was there magic?

 

No, the only magic that took place was...umm...hmm...

Nothing, I think.

 

If Rachel needs any help preparing for the descending hordes...I'm not against stopping by and lending a hand...maybe on Costuming night, lol.

 

I started cleaning the carpet last night, since it's REALLY horrible looking. I think that it shouldn't be too bad to clean before they come, if I start picking up the house today.

Anyone up for costuming on Wednesday, or are we saving up all our work to do this weekend? (I would NOT suggest saving it up... )

 

I'll be there Wednesday...I turned down an invite to a schmoozy-type-work-dinner to be there.

 

ooh, schmoozing. free food is good tho...

I think we can get our NS pants and tops to the finished stage on Wednesday, possibly the overskirty thing too...

Or you can work on the rancor pillow case.

 

sooo.... if I were curious and wanted to go to one of these, how would I get an invite?

A lot of us are much more comfortable handing out our personal info once we've met you face to face.

 

When is the February meeting? could we POSSIBLY have one on a day other than Sunday? I"m way too booked on sunday's as it is.

 

I think we voted this time for a Sunday meeting, majority rules and all that...

If you know any of the people who regularly post here, you can call them and get directions to the Costuming night. All you need is a costume to work on, and the stuff to work on it. We usually have at least 1 sewing machine, sometimes a serger (well, once we had a serger, and all we did was look at it and drool )

If you need help with certain aspects of your costumes (Not someone to sew it, but actual assistance) that is possible too. Several different members have mad skillz that they are willing to share.

 

But you must bribe those masters of thread... I hear chocolate cake and milk works great though

Rachel...I'm trying to get out of working tonight, cuz me is still werry werry tired from the flu. If I can, do you need any help tonight?

I promise to actually show up.

 

I think I've got it mostly under control, all that is really left to do is clean off the tables...which is a task that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemies (so I'm having Josh do it. )

We are somewhat munchie-less, so that might be a good thing to pick up.

 

Do you want me to drop them off tonight?

I need to make a trip to the store, but if you dont need me tonight, I might just hit the hay after I get home. I'm pooped.

 

tomorrow is fine...

If you want to pick up a triple chocolate cake mix and some chocolate icing, I can make a cake while we costume tomorrow.

I think the plan is to get to our place some time after 10 am, probably pitch in for lunch, there was talk of grilling steaks for dinner (we were going to make someone stand out side in the cold weather. )

Some extra soda might be nice, I'm not sure how depeleted our supplies are at the moment.

 

I think 11-ish would work better...LOL.

 

I'm thinking wednesday will be a go of some sort this week. We should keep this ball rolling...then maybe we can take a break before C3.
