Sixth Meeting (Two year anniversary?)

How would everyone feel about a meeting on March 14th? Our first meeting was on the 17th, so it seems appropriate to have one around the same time.

A possibility for a meeting place would be in the union if that works better for most people.

I made an agenda a few months ago (!!!) and if everyone wants to do this I could post it and we could refine it a bit.

The 14th is the Sunday of/before Spring Break... I don't know if that is going to be a problem for anyone. And since it's spring break the Union doesn't really work any better for me than anywhere else, but it would still be a good place to have it

April 11th is Easter
April 4th is Palm Sunday
And I will probably be busy the weekend of the 28th of March.


My parents will probably have my niece and nephew the 12-14th of March, so I might not be able to attend if they need help with the kids. I may have to help entertain them.

That too. Seeing as how there are already conflicts for the 28th and the weeks after that, how would the 7th be?

Sounds like that might be a good idea. I know it's a long ways away, but do we want to look at a week or two after Easter? Of course, that's getting into dead week and finals...

Wow, since when did planning a Sunday afternoon activity get so hard?!

I would suggest the 18th of April, since that seems the earliest date that Liz doesn't have a conflict for. It's two weeks before dead week, so taking an hour or two out of a Sunday afternoon shouldn't be too bad How does that sound to y'all?

April 18th looks okay, I suppose, but I sort of wish it could be somwhere else that we meet. I'm not that familiar with the UNION and am not sure.......do you have to have a student ID to get in on the weekends?
And my transportation issue - I'd take the bus, but it doesn't run on Sundays.


ADVERTISING IS WHAT we MUST focus on. Someone was supposed to give me the information you came up with last year, but forgot. If we don't advertise, we'll be stuck with just a few members and that's not fun.

Just a thought: would it be better to have it on a Saturday? The busses would be running then.

Please? Are you even aware that we planned a meeting?

 

Yes I am aware. However, I'd rather meet at the entrace to the Union. Navigating that place is like navigating a maze without being able to see where you are going.

Plus, with my bus route, I either have to take a bus that leaves at 12:50 and get there way too early or take a slightly later bus and get there 15 minutes late.


I have no idea how busy the Union is on saturdays.
