...Basically, with the group I've sourced, it's at $20 per head, all equipment and ammo inclusive, and we get additional free ammo the more people we have for a booking. I'm aiming for sometime towards the end of June (weather and timetables permitting) and I'd like at least 15, if not more people. I can probably dig up several committers from folks I know, but I'd like to ask people on the group first. These guys can apparently take up to 100 combatants, so I'd really dig a mass run.

Or failing that, a session at Quasar/Zone 3 sounds cool to me.

So. Who's in? Register your interest here or by PM.

Hmm, sounds like a good plan to me. I'd be in for sure, paintball or zone 3 would be cool. haven't done either for a long while.

As long as it's during school holidays I could be in that. I've always wanted to give it a try. 'Course Zone 3's fun as well. A few years back we had a FF midnight to dawn session there.

I remember the midnight til dawn session we did, my legs were aching for days after that.

I've been wanting to go paintballing for years but never got round to it, and as I only plan on being in Perth for one weekend before christmas I doubt I'll be able to make it this time either. Doh !

G'day dudes, I'm just new to fanforce WA, but Paintballing or Q-Zar sounds scrum-diddly-umptious!
I'd be in for that if you don't mind! Always a pleasure to meet a jedi...

Seriously, enjoy your time here! :D

Dudes, I'd planned to go through Paintball Skirmish, but Elliot, if you've got a better group with a better price, tell us who and what their prices are like.

    :D

    JOHNNAGE_THE_BRAVE, welcome to the boards.

Saintheart, I'm not into paintball, but I believe it is something that Soup has wanted to do. If you can find a paintball without the bruises I'd like it better (except for the running and stuff :D).

Technically there aren't supposed to be bruises because no-one's supposed to shoot anyone closer than a specified minimum difference. Accidents to happen though. ;)

cheers Tiger! I've been wondering lately if there was some kind of W.A fan base. I'm always excited to meet others with a high midichlorian count!

Plus hurting people is always a guilty pleasure! bring on paintball!

But seriously, Q-Zar is jsut as fun, plus you don't have to travel a zillion miles to do it.

Trust me...they bruise. Get pretty good welts too.
Anything that size shot at 400psi is going to bruise ;)

I got a pearler in the head at some place near clackline.. some bloke came running who I thought was going to see if I was okay, but he was merely taking a polaroid to put on his "wall of fame"

I couldn't believe it: it was like i was living in the Simpsons universe!

Yeah, in Perth paintball rules are too tame.
We have to clock the markers down to a very dull PSI and no head shots are allowed.
There's nothing dangerous about headshots in paintball, assuming you're wearing a certified paintball mask and assuming you're not shooting over 400 psi and not shooting with a automatic marker...which you generaly cannot get the loader for over here anyhow ;)

Aren't there "paintball" places without the paint? Or is that what you were talking about before?

EDIT: Oh and Johnny, feel free to browse our bios and add your own so we can get to know you. :)

Well, I'm for the paintball option myself--if only because I've done the Zone 3 thing (even had a moniker for myself on their old database ... Solo, of course) :D

So I'm thinking Paintball Skirmish, who I sourced. I'm looking at the weekend of June 18-19, mostly because I hit 31 on the Sunday. People prefer Saturday or Sunday?

The fear of pain when you get shot makes the whole experience more exiting. Besides, its less clumsy and random than a laser gun.
