I like Tom Hanks! And he'll probably win. Odd that you're the third Brit to say that though.

 

I don't have owt against him per se - he seems a very nice chap and he does make good films - I'm just a little fed-up with him winning all the time and being such a nice guy! Russell Crowe's at least got a bit of character and seems your more traditional man's man - not all luvvie and 'I want to thank the academy etc' And Gladiator rocked it has to be said.

I like Hanks.. Forrest Gump is one of my fave films, and he is a talented actor. But there are actors out there better than him

Yes, there are better actors than Tom Hanks but none of them turned in an Oscar performance this year. Crowe is the next choice and I suppose I won't be all that surprised if he wins but if I were gonna place a bet, I'd put my money on Hanks.
