I have been considering moving out of the Northeast and was looking to move to the Southwest.

I was told to look into the Las Vegas and surrounding areas.
How is the job market there? What is the cost of living like out there?

Las Vegas has been called the new Detroit, meaning people can make good livings here without degrees or trades. Cost of living here is moderate, depending on the area. I live in Central Las Vegas and rents here are really cheap. I live in a 2 bedroom/1 bath apartment, and my monthly rent is only $665. If you decide to live in Eastern Las Vegas or Green Valley, rents are a bit more, but the communities are nicer.

 

I really want to move away from Vegas, especially as summer gets closer.

 

I'm thinking about going out of town this summer... where should I go?

 

Europe. Hang out in castles. Play with swords. Get served by wenches. It's pretty much the ultimate vacation.

I just went to Las vegas this summer and am a BIG Star Wars fan. I belong to the St louis Star Wars Fanforce. I was looking for the Las Vegas Fanforce board, I hope this is right.
I looked all over, and you all have tons of wedding chappels, but NO Star Wars ones. My husband and I have been married 8 years but wanted a photo for home.

I am thinking about when I am done with nursing school, obtaining my traveling RN to work out in the city a while.

Is there anything big going on in the next year Star Wars related? I know the ST was big at Harrahs I believe but we did not go this summer. I hope to go back soon.
