Space Ship One Launch - Road Trip ????

    FYI -

    Space Ship One (Burt Rutan's spaceship) is scheduled to make its historic flight civilian launch on June 21, 2004. Our local Fan Force groups (Orange County Star Wars, the 501st and Rebel Legion members will be road tripping to view the equivalent of the first project "Mercury Launch"?

    The launch will be from Mojave airport at approx 6:30 a.m. on Monday, June 21. For more info follow the links below. Expect a MOB. I attended shuttle landings when they used to happen regularly at Edwards. The parking area opens at 3 a.m., but you should plan to camp out the night before to get a good spot on the fence.
