I think I need to clarify that the song is not mine I only changed the words in bold. The fun one will be the verses that include us The song is by Mark Jonathan Davis and can be found here.

I might try my hand at a completely original song later. For now, it's fun to mess around with existing tunes and words.

Back in my "college days" at my friend's coffee shop, the "Proverbial Cup" in Cd'A, we had a drink that my friend created, it was called a "Screaming Marsupial" italian soda, and after he put all the flavors in, it smelled like liquified gummy bears good stuff.

Now to elaborate on what I started in the "Crappy Valentine's Day" Thread.


So, I saw Noelle at InCon. Got to talk to her for maybe 30 seconds while she helped me get untangled from my armor. That was it.

Weeks later, we actually met at Dempsy's. Got along okay and exchanged numbers. Months passed, we talked a couple of times on the phone and didn't seem to impress each other at all.

We wound up getting together about a week-and-a-half ago for the sake of a one night stand. Not terribly romantic, but oh well.

Anyway, we did what we meant to do, and wound up talking. A lot. It turns out that she is actually a really nice lady. And we have a lot in common: The main points are that we're both very lonely, we usually have the best of intentions (though we don't always do the right thing, or, when we do the right thing we don't always do it the right way) and we've both been treated very badly in the past. And we both have very unpleasant pasts.

Will it work out? Who knows? All I know is that I feel compelled to keep her smiling and happy. But she is young (26) and if she gets scared for any reason (she's been in some REALLY bad relationships, and that can mess people up to the point of not knowing how to handle something better) she could bolt. It happens. It HAS happenned to me before. If it falls apart, I'll try to keep her as a friend. I really like her, and care about her a lot.

For now, things are good. Since all we have is now, I'm good. Yay! For better or for worse, what will happen will happen. I'll just hope for the best.




EDIT: FYI: We seem to have a couple of new Posters hanging out. And has anyone heard from Banthaman lately?

Amp is an energy put out by Pepsi and tastes nifty as well.
It was one of my friend's main source of energy (not nutrition) part of senior year. This was mostly due the fact that my job at the time was give out free samples of the stuff.
I doubt he would have bought it himself.

 

I still enjoy the occasional case of AMP to get me through a long night. It's about all that got me through Freshman year of College.

And...I fortunately have access to the Creator of the Screaming Marsupial. He says the contents were:
Peach, Raspberry, Strawberry, Passion Fruit, Blackberry, and Watermelon. 3 to 6 pumps per shot of syrup. (He can't remember, except that it was more syrup than the usual Italian soda.)

Just throwing it out there for what its worth.

Hi Everybody!

As you all may know, I am now in Port Orchard. Again.

I know that I'm going to regret missing the next meeting. No helping it. I hope you guys have fun. Even without me.

Speaking of meetings, I hope Noelle wasn't too much of a pain at the last one. Apparently she gets uncomfortable in unfamiliar situations and doesn't exactly know what to do or say under those circumstances. Why is it that I can relate to this?





Um, for better or for worse, She's expressed an interest in joining our group. I'm not really sure what do say or think about that. I don't know how much she really knows about Star Wars. And I'm pretty certain that she doesn't know about TF.N

Thoughts? Suggestions? Anybody?

 

Since I wasn't at the last meeting I don't know what happened but I am always up for new people. If she enjoys Star Wars, ah, even if she doesn't, she is welcome in my book.

 

Well, she did flip a little attitude at Chris for no reason that I'm aware of. And she was a little too loud about feeling bored.....
