star wars and kids day july 15th at the empire state plaza.

    Excelsior garrison has been invited to attend the Empire state plaza kids day on July 15th. They will be coming in costume of course. If anyone wants to come they can show up. Help out those in costume and of course help the kids. If you have a costume then bring it. I have about five lightsabers I will bring with me for the kids to play with.

    I think that was the press release for the 2005 event.
    This is the only press release I've found so far for the 2007 event...

    Either way, it still gives an accurate description of the event, just wrong date.
