Just FYU, BattleFront II is really quite fun. It's worth the purchase either off or online.

And if I see you online I won't get all "Ordder 66" on your arse, promise.

As TI said it's a real time strategy game. Basically you ?run? the Alliance or Empire, trying to conquer the galaxy system by system while holding on to what you already have. Having to strategize using money, troop movements, spying, ships, ground troops, planet resources, battle layouts and such, like chess but on a grander scale. You can download the Large demo from Lucas arts site (or mirrors). I tried it and it's not bad... I have not played a PC game like this since the text based days (that dates me). It?s quite intellectual Mr. Wookie, U would like it. :-B

Chris, try playing it on a harder difficulty. Also there is tons of secret stuff in the back room. I never got to do it all. Now I feel like playing it again. Empire at war looks great..I might have to see if my laptop can support it.

You laptop will support it. My PC does and my video card is a 5 year old ATI AIW 7500 with 64 megs of Video RAM (on a 64 bit moBo with a gig of PC3200 in dual channel mode, go figure). I can run the game no problem, your laptop is much better on video than mine.

    Lego Star Wars -

Talking about the new game David Perkinson, producer at LucasArts, said: ?There are so many things that are better, it?s hard to quantify.? Perkinson stated that his favourite improvements are the extended role of vehicles (including playable mini-kits), customisable characters, a better camera, player-specific attacks (including new Force powers), a greater number of weapons, and an adaptive difficulty setting.

Tom Stone, director at TT Games, said: ?We will be retaining all of the gameplay features from the first game and adding plenty more. There?s a lot that worked well in the original game, such as the character animations, the ?drop in/drop out? two-player feature, the general pace, collection of studs and characters, and so on. However, we have spent a lot of time improving the vehicle levels - you?ll be very pleased when you see what you can do with the X-wing and TIE fighters on the Death Star!?

Players will finally be able to create their own Star Wars character and bring them into the Lego Star Wars world!

?We?ve worked hard to bring out the distinctive individual personalities of all those great Original Trilogy characters - and that?s given us lots of cool new moves,? says Stone. ?So, as you?d hope, the Emperor now has a Force lightning attack, Vader has his Force choke, Han?s got some athletic blaster combat moves, and Chewie?s got a signature melee attack - he pulls arms out of sockets!?

Woot!! Three more days without KHII!!!! I am excited, will be getting it at midnight on Tuesday morning. I am also glad that someone made a video of Chain of Memories, because I have no time to play that game, and the video tells the entire story. It is three hours long, and 700MB, but is available on a public server for direct download, here. Just go the Chain of Memories - The Movie. If you don't know the story, like me, it is well worth the download. Anyway, can't wait for Tuesday morning.
