Idaho Summit Meeting news

Over on the Force.net is says that at the summit meeting yesterday the release of the Original Trilogy would be sept 2004 (Im not sure if they mean DVD or theatrical), also said that Two made for tv star wars events are in the works for 2006. It also said the first Episode 3 footage would be shown in January of 2005.

 

Thats fantastic, but I'm pretty sure they meant the DVD release don't you?

 

They were referring to the DVD release which is a good thing!!!

 

It's so nice to finally be able to own these movies on DVD. I don't know about anyone eles, but my VHS tapes are beginning to wear out.

 

I knew it!!!! And it's about time. Did they mention if there would be more updates to the films-hence the "ultimate editions?"

 

Any version is fine with me just as long as they come out...

 

But do we actually know if Lucas IS in fact going to do those "ultimate editions" or not? I'm really curious to know what version's they are going to be and want to get past the heresay and get some "real" answers on this!
