T-Shirt Design: Yay or Nay??

Oh boy, did it ever take me forever to figure out how to put these on the web (I have never tried ) Plus, the drawings are really bad (can you tell I'm not an artist?? ) On the front, that is suppost to be an N with the Alliance symbol. The back is the capitol with a Jedi on top of it...

hey, I scanned a copy of the rebel alliance symbol from my star wars encyclopedia. I am trying to just copy the symbol and somehow place an N in front of it or behind it. Its taking forever. I am using Paint Shop Pro and its still taking me too long. I may try to ask for help at a website I often go to.

Is that the symbol we agreed on? the Rebel Alliance one? I couldn't find the New Republic one.

 

Yeah, we agreed on the Alliance one.

And just in case anyone was wondering - we won't be using OWA's drawings: those are merely prototypes. But we thank him for his wonderful efforts

T-shirt Trouble

Someone mentioned Michael's Craft Store - I know we have one of those here in Lincoln....that could be the way to go for the shirts and maybe the iron on transfers. Then we could each get the size we want / need.

And, I think, since I am City Rep, I might get the words "City Rep" printed on my shirt, if that's okay.

Maybe we should just go with the N and the New Republic symbol on the front and nothing on the back. It might be easier and cheaper that way.

Two weeks - we better decide soon! We need to get these shirts done if we want to try to wear them to the movie.

And, I might open a cafe press store (MIGHT) to help (if it would work) raise money for costs like webhosting,etc, if we do a website.

We DEFINETELY short on time... Liz, that's a good idea. I think I might try making a picture of the capitol anyway (to see if this will work).

 

Ok... (Starts trying to make a good capitol picture for consideration... )

 

Eh... how about we forget the capitol for now (we can always add them later). Lets just go ahead with it being our symbol on the front with the name, and then we could have something such as our name (and underneath it could be things such as city rep, charter member, etc.) Since we will most likely be printing these off, we could personalize them like that easily.
(Everything seems to be falling into place)

(Finished product inspired by Liz). Is this fine?? If anyone could get me a nice, high resolution Alliance logo, it would look a whole lot better (I did the other one by hand ) Thoughts??

High resolution? The Alliance symbol I found was in my encyclopedia.

 

That's ok Liz. If I can just get a nice, clean picture (preferably with a white backround), we could print those out and put them on tees. That is, of course, if people like it. Btw, it would be optional to put your name, other things, on it

? I've wondered that too... So, does everyone want to PM me what they want underneath the logo (such as name, no name, name that you prefer...) We are doing this on white tees, right??

 

I've got a new and possibly better idea for a t-shirt design.

It would have the Capitol building unaltered, and then have Star City over the image (on top)
then on bottom (under the image) it would say "Alliance", then on the back it would simply say "Lincoln Fan Force"

Names would *NOT* be on the shirts. Especially if we do get younger members, for their safety.


If we could get a sponsor like Runza, then we'd have a logo on the sleeve. Maybe on the back of MY shirt it could simply say "City Rep".

I honestly think putting "charter member" on a shirt would look extremely dorky.

Anyone want to do this different design instead?
